“Apostle James Ng’ang’a continued praying and asked for a curse on those behind the act, while asking the crowd to move closer and for those involved to be prayed for.”
“But when I saw the extent of the injuries on those being brought (to the dais), I said prayer would not do and they would have to be taken to hospital.”

In your view, what would you consider to be evidence of God's approval?

It is written in the Bible (Galatians 6:7):
"Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that
shall he also reap."

TANCREDO NEVES (President of Brazil): During the Presidential campaign,
he said if he got 500 votes from his party, not even God would remove
him from Presidency. Sure he got the votes, but he got sick a day before
being made President, he then died...and many more...I know u know.

The true story of Tancredo Neves is a scary tale of how bad blasphemy can get. Surprisingly, the dude won the elections outrightly with an overwhelming majority. Just 1 (one) day to taking the oath of office, dude gets sick! Stomach pains....Dies same day! Blasphemy.

I hate to admit it, but murenj has a valid question, one that christians should face squarely and not shy away. I cannot see any blasphemouse content in murenj's posts. This is not the first rime God has not answered prayer. In I samuel 4: from verses 1 onwards the Israelites went to war after praying for victory. It turns out that God had alredy ordained defeat, so as to get rid of the corrupt religious leaders. I think christians should tell us what God thinks about the constitution, rather than the opinions of the clergy.

The Bible is not a Commerce book that can be read and understood with the natural mind. And who says that God did not heal those people? If they went to hospital and got healed, is it not God who healed them? God is sovereign and he will heal as he chooses to heal, when he chooses to heal and whom he chooses to heal. Have you not read the scripture when Paul was sick and he prayed to God to be healed but God said NO? And what about the disciples of Christ who were persecuted and killed because of their faith, was not God with them??? All those who desire to live Godly lives MUST suffer persecution. Read your Bible and you will see that.

Yes. The almighty God reserves the right to heal. Perhaps we should find out if God is going to excercise his right before offering prototype prayers

Simonkabz :

Tancredo de Almeida Neves

During the Presidential campaign, he said if he got 500,000 votes from his party, not even God would keep him from the Presidency. He did get the votes, but could not become President. On January 15, 1985, Neves was elected President by a majority of the Electoral College. However, on March 15, just one day before he was to take the oath of office, Neves became severely ill. He suffered from abdominal complications and developed generalized infections. After seven operations, Neves died on April 21.

Thought yours was myth ...Kumbe its true....
This is scaring .....never play with the Name and servants of God ....

2 Kings
2:23 And he went up from thence unto Bethel: and as he was going up by the way, there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head.
2:24 And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the LORD. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them.

What is the meaning of this strange set of events? ....... prophets were the people God used to communicate His will to men (Exodus 7:1; Deuteronomy 18:18-19)...... So if someone was disrespectful to a prophet......then that was just like being disrespectful to God.

Im a in the YES camp yet I have vowed to respect the opinion of the Clergy ..and I'm am calmly and with respect persuading any I meet in person to approve the constitution.... by enumerating the good things the draft has to offer ... as per my signature which is meant to educate many of us who may not have reasons to say 'YES' :

Just as there are many day scholars in the 'Yes' camp ( 'Yes' by the day 'No' by the night)...there are also many day scholars In the 'No' camp...

I hope Murenj reads this

Murenj, your topic is totally lacking in timing. Really bad timing.Shame on you Shame on you

However,

For those screaming blasphemy.

I think murenj is questioning the ability of one Pastor Kariuki to have the power to heal. Not God.

I for one would not count on the pastors on that podium healing a scratch on my little finger.

By the way, you have stated that Tancredo died from stomach ailments. that is the medical view.

There are those like you who think it was because he said something blasphemous in your opinion. Others think it was stomach ailments due to infections.

So question remains, can the said pastor heal or not? If he can't then why does he, as murenj put it, "offer a bad product"?

I still think the topic is in bad taste considering the period.

...

Nanfor1 My sister ....Blashpemy was invoked in this guy's death because he used the Name of God to infer that God was unable to deny him presidency as long as he got 500k vote ...The timing of the stomach ailiment (one day before becoming president)is what brings a cause-effect relationship between bhashememy and his failure to become president...There is a definite causal link....
