Anyone know of any hotels or travel agents that can process a Dubai visa and act as guarantors? Seems that a guarantor is required when visiting.

Yes. They call it "Sponsor". A Must have for Dubai Visa. Travel agents can do this for you. If you have a relative, they can do it from that side as well. If you MESS, they are answerable.
Some hotels sponsor visas but it's very specific to your dates, meaning, You have to stay at that Hotel so long as you are in Dubai.

Getting Dubai visa locally will cost you approximately 14-18K. If you still need one, I can connect you to my Travel Agent.

Yes, I had recently booked and got my Dubai visa for my Dubai business trip online through the only Dubai visa travel agencies . There service was quite fast and reliable

Back in the day, you only had to buy a ticket from Emirates and they'd do the dirty work. Have things changed? Also there was the option of travelling to Sharjah, in that plane where everyone is hurdled like in a bus, and get it there upon arrival.
