I took a bath on KQ so I understand where that comes from. I am in Centum but not as a core investment. That said, I believe they will do well given their projects. The discount, I believe, is due to:
- CK's health [I hope he gets better soon]
- Lamu/AMU controversy [which will hopefully be resolved. Kazi iendelee]
- Weakness in real estate [which is my biggest concern in the next few years]
- Debt [They are working on reducing it]
I am glad the Vipingo land is productive so Centum doesn't have to deal with squatters, etc. They can develop the 10,000 acres over time.
