Kagame exemplifies what leadership is all about. Simplicity and service to his people, I know he has critics even here but the thing is, it works for his countrymen. Interestingly,, in 2005, Rwanda was ranked 121 of 175 while Kenya was 20 places down the table. Rwanda is at an all time low of 44/175 while Kenya has gone 7 places higher up.........and we are busy talking about 2022, legacies and ferking pillars!!!Sad Sad

I think Rwanda should start in other areas like maybe refining Coltan and other rare earth metals that come out of DRC. Even if they do not have the capacities to refine them completely they can do some value addition. If I was Kagame I would also talk clandestinely to that crook Kamlesh Pattni. Rwanda would be the perfect spot for being the world hub of what Goldenberg was trying to be, a processing hub for Gold and diamonds.

For the longest time the jewelry capital of the world was Antwerp Belgium. Gold and diamonds from all over the world was shipped to Antwerp to be cut and converted to jewelry. That was until the wahindis discovered the biashara. Now the worlds diamond capital is Surat in India:

Very good observation sir Kusadikika.
Please whisper some words of advice to our Kenyan kagame also.
He should try to understand the 'global value chain' and curve out a niche for Kenya.

Some say that we can be the R&R superpower with the right dose of vision and investments, easily overtaking the deserts and the medieval cities with their monuments and stolen art.
We are also 1-2 airplanes away from anywhere in the world.
