I am suspicious because no insects, bacteria, fungi(moss) or living creature wants it. It's kinda like plastic flowers -they look great to humans but bees don't want them. All Mushrooms are edible! Some Mushroom are only edible ONCE!

@masukuma, yes zamzam is pure water because the well is ever clean, no moss, no insects, no fungi etc or other contaminators. You are learned, you know water will have those impurities if it is contaminated. But if it not contaminated, how will it have impurities... Makkah is one of the cleanest place in the world... And you did not mention that the well produces water at the rate of 18 litres per second! And it is only 13 meters below the ground. Compared to Nairobi, water is generally available from 250-350 metres It is the best water in the world. It is a miracle, isn't?

Many have been intrigued by this water of ZamZam. According to a German scientist who has studied the water, he reported that the water is several times heavier and more energetic field than normal water. It betters your energetic field and make you better. He used samples of the water, which was sent to European laboratories for testing. And he said the energy was still so powerful, despite the distance taken from the source, so how much energy at the source! Hear it from the horse's mouth German scientist

For those who have not heard about this, let me bring you up to speed...
Do you remember the story of Hajar or Haggar the 2nd wife of Ibrahim (May God be pleased with them)? Centuries ago, after Hajar gave birth to Ismail, Sarah began to feel jealous. Sarah asked Ibrahem to send Hajar and the son away from her. God revealed to Ibrahim that he should take Hajar and the infant Ismail and take them to Makkah. So he took them and left Hajar and her child Ismail in an isolated place in which there was no water. He left them and went back to Palestine. Conversation:
Hajar said to him, "For whom are you leaving us in this forsaken valley?" But Ibrahim did not talk to her, he just left her, and she said, "Has God commanded you to do this?" He said, "Yes." She said, "Then God will not cause us to be lost."
Hajar searched desperately for water in the hills of Safa and Marwa to give it to her young son, Ismail (pbuh). As she ran from one place to another in search of water, her child cried, rubbing his feet against the sand. A pool of water surfaced, and by the grace of God, which came to be called Zamzam water.
Ever since it came into existence at that time of Ibrahim (pbuh), many, many centuries ago, this is a well that has never dried up. Actually, it has always remained filled up and met the demand of the people. It has maintained its chemical composition and taste since the time it was analyzed. Pilgrims have always carried it and as they go back home, all over the world after visit to the Kabah every year during Hajj. No one has ever but have never make a complaint about the water. They have enjoyed its refreshing effect.
ZamZam water has never been treated chemically or chlorinated to purify it. ZamZam water has no biological growth and no vegetation that is mostly observed in other wells

Scientist has shown that water reacts to the environment ( search for Emoto Masaru). They say water can have different unique structures, which means something happens to water and its structure changes. Dr. Emoto Masaru said that if human speech or thoughts are directed at water before being frozen, the water assume different structure. Scientists also say you can energize anything. When you energize water, it revitalized. And using energized water for some time, the person will feel more energized, and healthier, and more motivated. This water is commonly referred to as "healthy water". The water has been structurally altered. Another scientist Dr. Pollack says that drinking structured water is good for your health. Quote: "In other words, there was a particular absorption of energy at a particular wavelength that's absolutely characteristic of the structured water," He further says: " That makes me think that there is a good possibility that the water really has the capability of retaining that structure over a long timeā¦ Therefore, it's possible that if you drink water that has this structure, it might be good for your health." That is why interestingly, water from Zamzam has this same structure, and it has "healing effect". It has been studied and now found to have the structure like the structured water in living cells. Emoto Masaru studied Zamzam water. He said raw Zamzam water has many particles, and the one he used for experiment was diluted 1000 times.

But I work with high quality water- not for human consumption (deionised water not good for you) and needs to go through very many processes and still grows algae after two days. I have to use it in one day otherwise i discard. This is marketing. The above mentioned water goes through below processes; It is ultra-filtered to remove particles and bacteria; It is distilled to remove gases; It is deionised to remove ions; It is passed through UV to remove organics; It goes through reverse osmosis to cleanse all above! Kunywa tu maji wacha complications The hot stock is the one that everyone thinks that everyone else thinks....is the hot stock (Dixit & Nalebuff, 2008).

Kunywa tu maji wacha complications @Invepreneur Ionized water should not be used for human consumption. If you are drinking ionized water or artificially alkaline water it can easily become too alkaline and harm your body. As for your bottled water, of course it goes bad after a few days because when you drink it you introduce Microscopic organisms from your mouth or air.

The question paused is interesting: why don't the insects, and other creatures seem to want it?

Remember your water, in the sealed container, before you open it is free from contaminators, impurities, bacteria... But once you open it, once you put your lips on it, it will get contaminated and get all kinds of micro-organisms. Similarly to Zamzam once exposed to outside world... Even my Zamzam water in the house, if stored safely, is free from contaminators... But once i pour it into my glass and sip, it can get contaminated.

"purest" water is deionised (not the same as ionized)/ distilled water. it's just "H20" no additional contaminants and it's neither alkaline or acidic it's Ph7. secondly... the oldest water is 2.6 billions of years old (basically was trapped that long ago). Cape Town started extracting water that is possibly half a billion years old to drink. How does the structure of water change? based on prayers and related things. I think those scientists being quoted are cranks. I think before defaulting to "it's by God's grace" we need to eliminate the reasons why there is no bacteria, algae and other contaminants in the water. 1) either the area is so hostile to all these "contaminants". the rocks lining the aquifer that store it don't have any salt like chemical that can dissolve in the water. 2) or the water has these 'contaminants' and we are not being told as such. The cranks may be paid off mouth pieces to legitimize the sales pitch. Considering the Japanese dude was asked to recreate his findings in exchange for $1M in front of people and he didn't show up. it's quite likely it's the second one - it's much easier to pull off. All Mushrooms are edible! Some Mushroom are only edible ONCE!

Good luck with the guy who habitually conveniently pretends not to understand when it suits him Just as absolute power corrupts leaders, so does absolute fanaticism blind the people from logic

Just read somewhere about Emoto's experiments - apparently water formed beautiful hexagonal crystals when esposed to the words "Thank you" said softly and was different when 'you fool' was screamed at it. Just made me wonder - what would happen if the words "Thank you" were screamed at the water and "you fool" said 'softly'? what happens if you use another language that sounds aggressive like russian or german to say "thank you". what if "you fool" is a 'positive' phrase in another dead or alive language? there are thousands of languages alive. Apparently water also 'sees' and when exposed to an image of a dolphin - it had some fancy crystals. was it exposed to an image of a fake dolphin? a real porpoise? a killer whale? When shown an image of the heart - it had crystals like the heart... hmm... when the heart image is put upside down it becomes a butt - does it have butt crystals? what if the heart had an arrow in it? or was progressively broken - at what points would the crystals stop appearing? After prayers as well... it had interesting crystals... prayers to which deity? what happens if you prayed to Zeus or Thor? So many questions All Mushrooms are edible! Some Mushroom are only edible ONCE!
