If the stars align for Ruto he shall be President. A group of people tried to jeopardise Toroitich but he went on. In 2012 another group thought UK can never be President went on to groom Musalia but the plan fell flat. So this discussion is useless 2022 is 4 years away.

Mawinder and et all stop blaming Kikuyus collectively for no fault of their own. Though I don't speak 4 them, or anyone 4 that matter, I think the intentions in '13 & 17' were genuine. However the trajectory things have taken e.g. corruption, maize scandals, nys, sugar scandal, power scandals, kpc scandals, etc calls for new thinking. You can actually tell what drives some of these people- some believe they get power to get rich, not to primarily serve the country. Otherwise if you extrapolate to 27'& 32' - you don't need rocket scientist to tell you +254 could become bankrupt in the name of keeping agreements

Well said. I am of the opinion that, if Uhuru and Ruto abandon everything they are doing and focus on tackling corruption and dismantling corruption cartels once and for all, maybe we will change heart.....but i guess asking Ruto to tackle corruption is akin to asking a hyena to become the Chairman of a goats association!smile

In the context of institutionalized corruption versus un-institutionalized corruption I vote for the latter.

Anything that weakens the whole corrupt structure is welcome.

BTW, even if Ruto is sidelined and trampled down, the day he partnered with UK is when the cat jumped out of the bag.

I wonder if this is linked to the falling of the Mugumo...

Because the Mugumo is the great King of virtue, and it's falling implies the falling of virtue.

So tutapigilia Mugumo isimame? @Masukuma ako wapi aweke lightning conductor kwa mti?

2022: Kikuyu elders tell DP Ruto to retire

https://www.the-star.co....ruto-to-retire_c1778260

Quote:
The Kikuyu Council of Elders wants Deputy President William Ruto to retire together with Uhuru Kenyatta when his term expires in 2022.

Yesterday, the council’s national secretary general Peter Munga told the Star that Ruto is part and parcel of the current presidency and should therefore prepare to exit with the Uhuru administration.

“As a Council we are very serious that he [Ruto] has to pack with Uhuru. If Uhuru has to leave in 2022, the deputy should follow suit.”

Quote:
Kikuyu Elders official Munga claimed that the DP's share in government has been shared solely among his Kalenjin community, while the President is forced to apportion his 'share' with the entire country.

We all know that Kenya is a live soap opera. I would not be surprised if it's baba is being played all along by Uhuruto to make him believe in the "handshake". It will all be revealed in the finale in May 2022. I don't even know why Kenyans bother with elections politics so early and we all know everything changes 3 months to elections.

BBI will solve it
