Do they have options (mpesa, bank, re-investing) like previous years Dividends started streaming in from 15th March. I received and already blew mine [Kujishukuru]. Make sure you check your email, fill in the form you recieve from SIC instructing what to be done with your dividends. Mpesa for amount below 70k. ....He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion..

Does anyone know if the share register has been closed? Me too I have been getting this nessage and it didnt make sense to me. Only yesterday I noticed they decided to do this after they noticed no one was buying the secondary shares and a big backlog dated from as early as April needed to be cleared. If you teied to sell your shares in July your lot is still in the market todate andso is anyone who floated his tbereafter. Why this is happening I have no idea. Too many people selling out? Why? Still no answer(asking myself) Hello everyone, Wanted to join sic. seems like a sound investment. A friend told me that "it's overvalued and their business model doesn't make sense.. They're in the business of selling shares apparently". What is your take on this kindly? especially after the comment by yosie. Alternatively, given the high membership fee, would it be advisable to buy land from them if i am unable to join. does anyone have experience buying land from them? would you consider the pricing fair? are their discounts for members?

Mainly real estate with abit of money market play. Governance is very good and they have a good brand/ being a Safaricom "child".They are way ahead of other investment coops in Kenya and returns have been good and I believe will be continued to be good in the short-term (2/3 yrs).

There was an investment in farming (Top Farm) that did not work, not sure they are doing any agriculture at the moment. You can check out their website for more information on their projects.

About the upcoming AGM i note that one of the agenda(s) is "suspension of a board member" what does that mean? "There are only two emotions in the market, hope & fear. The problem is you hope when you should fear & fear when you should hope: - Jesse Livermore .
