Lukenya is ok for primary but secondary not sure.I have personal experience on this. And standards seem to be going down after the Chairman went West (Makueni)

Thanks.

Been to the website for NOVA and its hanging along the way.Am not able to complete the online forms . I may have to pay a visit personally. Will update once there.

@Bigchick. Is it one year drop in performance or something progressive.

I paid a visit to NOVA Kikuyu sometime back and can say I was impressed. They even had a demo class as the interviewees were sitting for a test and I think they have hacked it (in a positive way).

on this note, isn't it harder for the kids who go through the 'international' schools system, what they call the all rounded approach when they have to drop back into the kenyan system at the university/college level.

I mean unless you have planned for your kid to go abroad for college, come back and you fix them into the family business at the management level, won't it be too hard for them to go into the kenyan colleges which only focus on exams and papers then have to hassle for an entry level job, most of which just rely on papers.

Word.

It is very unfortunate and the new system will hopefully address the anomaly. It might however take a generation to change the Kenyan mindset.

Anybody with information about these schools.

Am interested in the primary and girls secondary section.

Fees?Quality of education?Discipline?
Have Googled but the fees bit is not coming up and the other details I believe are a marketing pitch. So looking for someone with the real experience. Wazua never disappoints.

@ Bigal
It's been a year and now we have a curriculum that requires such model of teaching.
What's your experience so far?

Teaching is more collaborative than lecturing with high focus on innovation and leadership.

This is the model-Focused on producing well rounded (not fat) individuals.
I have mine enrolled in an institution offering the same and the results are quite impressive.
