Also, those of you that import from Thailand/Asia which trusted sites do you source for pickups especially the 4-wheel drives single cab pickups, most sites I visit seems to have very limited stocks or none at all, recommendations, please

@Chaka. They are a bit cheaper than the other sites have visited.

Which Company would you recommend.

Noted. Thanks. However, considering 2 units which are relatively similar in terms of mileage, Jan's Trading is still cheaper. Seems more people trust SBT and therefore I'll opt to go with the tried and tested and use SBT.

Please also note that there was some duty adjustment sometime around mid August, 2018. I ordered for a Honda fit hybrid beginning of August and confirmed duty with total clearance charges then coming to 320k or thereabout. When the car landed in Mombasa, I was shocked to be hit with a 410k charge. I quickly checked with dutycal and found that true to it duty had actually changed by close to 100k. I confirmed with my clearing agent who informed me that the CRSPs were adjusted upwards and backdated to 1st July. Didn’t have a choice but felt conned by my government! Kweli tulijipeleka kwa moto. I actually found it so stupid; one cannot even plan coz you are not even sure what cards the tax man is hiding under the table to squeeze you once you have sealed a deal
