If the point of this handshake wa a referendum to distribute power ethnically or keep Ruto out, then the vote should be a resounding NO! Only if it is for reducing the numbers of Counties, MPs, MCAs etc. then may be...

Now,imagine if USA decided to change their constitution to accommodate the Blacks, Hispanics, Jews... Their problem is much larger than ours because it's clear cut between race. Race and religion would make a better argument than tribes.

But I think it's wrong to change the constitution to create jobs for people. We got it wrong when we created a weaker Senate. Senate should have been the national ethnic equalizer.

Do as you are told or engineered to do.

That's how things go around here. So, these are just Ruto camp ideas.

Wait for the critical moment when forces move en mass.

COMBINE 2022 and Referendum so as not to contradict his excellencies wisdom, not to undermine Railas arguments and to leave space for Jubilee to front Ruto in 2022 peacefully.

The katiba has been very good especially devolution, but something needs to be done, and the discussion needs a relaxed not a lot of pressure and jumping up and down, it needs to be an "organic constitution", now that the grassroots have tasted the fruits of knowledge from the current katiba, they will appreciate a more African wholistic/holistic katiba.

I am with you on amending the constitution on 'new issues'. There were fundamental issues raised in 2010 that almost everyone agreed needed to get addressed but the contention was 'when' - Those ones should get first dibs.
it is... each county has 1 representative - Nairobi with it's 2million plus... 1 senate vote. Isiolo with 75k voters... 1 senate vote. it's the equalizing house! But senates should vote for laws of certain categories not create them. Our system is a 'democratic' system -wengi wape... with checks. The senate is meant to 'check' Parliament on some matters of equity.

What makes you think that you reasons for katiba change/review are more valid than Baba's valid reasons?

Should the katiba change/review be driven by wananichi and not politicians? Do wananichi want a katiba change/review or we are still waiting for our beloved politicians to tell us whether we need a katiba change/review or not?

My point is that you reasons for katiba change/review are just as invalid as baba's reasons
If Obiero did it, Who Am I?

My views are not of more value than baba's. They are of equal value if his vote still counts as one. Of course the review will be driven by politicians but my vote will determine. So let them bring it to the table and the proponents for yes and no bring their cases to us tuamue. But I can assure you the Parliamentary route will lose asubuhi na mapema.
