i would not blame mariga for having an italian accent. the dude is clearly learning italian (if he has not learnt already) like he must in order to get the best out of his stay and work in italy. now to speak it well (not necessarily to be fluent) he must try and pronounce things the italian way as much as possible.
that would obviously affect how he speaks in english given that english is not his mother tongue - probably the third language he learnt after swahili.

I'll have to agree with mkenyan on this one, Mariga can speak sheng fluently so imagine if you couldn't speak English then start learning a new foreign language? You get what we saw on the bench BEER IS LIVING PROOF THAT GOD LOVES US AND WANTS US TO BE HAPPY!

Come on. Mariga was talking like Jose Mourinho. Oliech spoke good English. Maybe Mariga will acquire the Spanish accent of Benitez now. GOD BLESS YOUR LIFE

Benitez may just fanya an overhaul and sell akina Mariga, but he can relax knowing he got a champion's league medal whichever team he goes to

Oliech - bure kabisa... he cant even speak in a systematic manner... his mind was all over the place.
Mariga - apart from the accent, i didnt like his dodgy way of answering questions.... trying too much to be politically correct even when asked a personal preference... Just be yourself.... If you cant say what you believe in as a person, then we cant even trust you, we can connect with you.. However, i loved the way he insisted on the young prospective players going to school and taking their study seriously....
Khayange! Now that's a smart brain on some shoulders right there! He was real, easily expressing himself, systematic, he knows what he wants, where he is going, what his goals are, how he feels on some issues on a personal capacity so you actually connect with the player..... You cant miss to tell that he is well educated - well like most of the other rugby players.

Rugby players attend schools like St Mary's(Nairobi and Yala) Maseno,Alliance, Mang'u while the soccer boys attend Kamkunji and the like. You can't expect them to be the same.
