China will tighten its grip on world affairs and thus screw countries like Kenya harder. North Korea will likely chill again. All these things look good and beneficial in the short term to some American simpletons but they will bite back hard some years from now

Is it possible that Trump is merely employing these hradnosed arm-twisting tactics to bully Iran into submission and squeeze a few more concessions from them such as ceasing the long range ballistic missile tests, sponsoring groups like Hezbollah and others, threatening Israel etc.

Remember Trump used similar arm-twisting tactics with N. Korea and he is now seeing fruits – climb down by Kim Jong Un.

Trump hopes Iran will negotiate and cede more ground, then he will get back on board the new look nuclear deal – with extras.

He will then take a noisy victory lap taunting everybody about his tough negotiating acumen - which in actual facy is just brazen brinkmanship whose flip side is a real risk of plunging into war if the other side were to stand their ground.
