@vvs needs to inform us on the latest happenings at KK, noting that Vivo has started to capture the local market recently, notably the downstream segment https://www.exchange.co....top-oil-dealer-in-kenya/

I am with @mieenyma i.e. I want to buy more shares. I am not a seller that 19.

But the Tano Tena GOK will finish us . VAT on petroleum products will hit everyone hard . Once elections are over i guess they say we can go to hell . Time for new taxes

This will hurt KK volumes

How did Kk manage to emerge so strong in such a competition when it was almost collapsing? total and vivo failed, they should be far ahead of kk,with total trading at about 35bob a piece it's sensible for Kk to cross 20bob

Yes, if VAT is added to the already high prices, not only KK (Vivo, Total) but most other firms except tenderpreneurs will be affected.
Transport eg cement firms, airlines, tourism, etc [ARM, Bamburi, KQ, TPSEA]
Sales of vehicles: Centum via GM
Construction: HAFR, C&G
Beer: Higher transport/fuel costs including running generators
Agriculture: Kakuzi, WTK, etc all use tractors, trucks, etc
Banks will also be affected since they finance many sectors of the economy.

Inflation will jump leading to demands for higher salaries. Firms expenses will rise.

If GoK used these "extra" funds properly then I would be more optimistic but they are likely to misuse the funds and pay the increasing interest costs on both local and foreign debt.

As they said the issue of capping will be in the budget and it will be streamlined to removed but with some attachments.
Now I can see Wanjiku and the Gurus are buying some of the stocks that went down due to capping. Such include Britam, COOP Bank, NIC bank, the two magic banking stock KCB and Equity, HFCK, etc

Its time to buy before the NASA fires the engine
