Yaani unaamua kuiva Cremation is a smart way to help the soul accept and move on. Those sumbua souls that don't accept and move on coming back as ghosts are best dealt with using cremation. It's a quicker way of releasing the elements that made the body especially when the skull explodes. The body is just a garment for your soul even the bible says you will have new body. Fire is a good way of dealing with diseases. Plus there isn't much land to be occupied by decomposing bodies and graves.

It's become difficult to buy land in rural areas since graves are everywhere. Cremation should be the way to go or public cemeteries.

You are wrong. They were all at one time kanu members. When? I know Orengo was an MP in 1980s but others have no record of been in KANU When was Orengo an MP for KANU? This is a guy who once shared a jail cell with Ochuka at Kamiti maximum. This was after he was repatriated from Tanzania by Nyerere. It does not seem like Moi would ever let him be an MP.

People tend to forget that KANU was the successor of KAU and was the largest contributor to African rights crusade from the 40s to 60s when it took power. That mistakes were made doesn't make the party inherently evil.

Back in the day when we had the Crossfire show on Kiss FM hosted by Patrick Quarcoo with the guests being Mukhisa, Tony Gachoka and the late Mutula Kilonzo, Mukhisa told us he had never joined KANU. That perhaps means he never voted before '92

This is the sheep mentality that is common in Kenya. Who is "all"? If you were in Kanu, say I was in Kanu. We were not "all" in Kanu. To be a Kanu member, you had to buy that jogoo badge et al. I guess, those that did it then want us ALL to pretend that all of us were from that evil empire. Apana boss. If anyone was in Kanu and has not sought forgiveness for the sins they committed against those who were not in Kanu, they should swallow their guilt on their own. Kanu hawks were very adept at changing history. Not anymore. Thieves are not good people. Tumeelewana?

I love the music played there that reminds of the hormone powered days of my youth. But most important of all, I love the accent, masterly of the English Language, and the sense of humour exemplified by the Continuity Announcers. I love Classic 105 FM. The only other equal or better Radio station I listen to is The BBC World Service. Well, maybe until Larry Mondondo starts peddling his eee.... hogwash. So, I repeat, speak for yourself.

At least Atwoli has some conscience... https://nairobinews.nati...condole-matibas-family/
Quote:Cotu Secretary General Francis Atwoli has come clean on why he never condoled the family of the late pro-democracy champion Kenneth Matiba.
The fiery trade union says he chose to stay away because he was part of the system which persecuted and detained Matiba at the height of the agitation for a return to multiparty democracy in the early 1990s.
“I was surprised to see some of the people I worked together with in Kanu back then going to condole with the late Matiba’s family. But I chose not go to pretend because I was one of the main mobilizers of YK92 (Youth for Kanu 92) movement,” said Atwoli.
“And some of these people keep saying they want to be the presidents of this country,” added the Cotu boss in what appeared to be subtle dig at Deputy president William Ruto.
