Saw a CNN feature on Mauritius saying that it is expected to post annual growth of over 7% in the coming ten years. Maybe that's what guided the transaction KQ ABP 4.26

In a joint statement, the two firms on Thursday said the solution dubbed “Doubleclick suite”, will enable the agency purchase and sell advertisement space in real time, and simplify advertising campaign management from media planning to reporting. The Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) - listed firm chief executive Bharat Thakrar said they are confident that the partnership will cement the agency’s top position in the region. “With more than 80 per cent digital media in the US and 60 per cent in the UK sold programmatically in 2017, and a renewed focus by advertisers on media efficiency, brand safety and ‘viewability’, we are confident that this partnership will cement WPP Scangroup’s position as a leading digital media house in the region,” said Mr Thakrar. Google Kenya’s country manager Charles Murito said the partnership will re-define how media is planned and bought in the region. Pesa Nane plans to be shilingi when he grows up.

That said, is it "investable" [returns] based on the current price? That's the question I struggle with... The PER seems expensive but am I missing something? Greedy when others are fearful. The problem with ad agencies is that it falls under creative arts hence ascertaining economic value of the entity largely depends on knowledge of the creative capacity of the ad agency noting that massive talent shifts have previously led to collapse of well established companies. This one is not for the faint hearted KQ ABP 4.26

This one is not for the faint hearted Yes, if BT can keep the talent (& connections) on-board then it makes sense. Anyway, I did buy some scan back in the day but with other opportunities at lower PEs and which seem less risky, I'll stick with others BUT I will keep an eye on Scan. Greedy when others are fearful.
