MM was a clown in RAO circus, he got excited the crowds loved him so much that he started insulting the owners of the circus....... well the crowd didn't show up in his next show where the circus owners called his bluff.

So now it's done.

What happens after they pay? Do they have to comply with the earlier orders or its over?

For today, they will pay the fine. But knowing them, they won't pay.

In law, they are now convicted felons. Unless they appeal, which they won't.

So today, the story is that we have convicted people in gov't. In the future though, things are not as rosy as they sound for the 3. I'm 100% sure that this case shall come to haunt their careers and personal wealth for ages to come. So yes, it matters.

The time clock is actually counting down and not counting up.

Tick tock.

Just be real my friend. The three guys are already heroes to the government of the day and other successive regimes might require their services.
Do you ever wonder why we keep on getting the same old guys in high places in the government circles?

So was Kariuki Chotara, Joseph Kamotho et al. Hezekiah Oyugi was more powerful than all these ones combined.

Governments use you and then dump you. Only your family comes to tell us stories.

According to substandard, it is to be deducted from this month's (March?) pay. So he expects they will retain their jobs till the end of the month Applause

Exactly. The thing is that no one in Kenya expects great moments of statesmanship from this lot. So no one is surprised at all.

Actually the surprise is that the judge actually found them guilty of a crime. That was shocking. But remember criminals are allowed either to go to jail or pay a fine. So these ones will pay a fine.

Sometimes you wonder if people have ever read the Art of War.

As far as mother time is concerned, these 3 shall have this on their necks for the rest of their life.

In the meantime, Miguna shall be back to Canada kesho and start instituting legal cases against these 3 personally. Whether they are settled in 2 years, 5 years, 10 years, this conviction shall be paid in full.

Meanwhile, Kenyans shall know without a doubt that if you go to court, you are wasting your time. Better kumalizia hiyo maneno kando. More hongo. Mwenye pesa mpishe.

And that shall be the lasting legacy of this gov't. History has been written.

Sad.

Life is funny like that MuchKnow. It's like a box of chocolates, you never know what you shall get.

I remember a guy who was so busy building gabbions, giving free school milk, and free whatever you wanted in harambees.

He was building his legacy.

If you ask people now, they are wondering what he's waiting for to go meet his maker.

Legacies are very interesting things. You try to build stadiums and people remember that they can't bother going to court. Afadhali nilipe huyu jamaa 1k niende home.

That conviction is nonsensical. You cannot convict a govt officer who was acting on behalf of the state. It was "the office of the state occupied by those individuals" that was acting not the individual. Thus convicting the 3 is like convicting the state, which is upus that should be ignored.

Their demise had nothing to do with their previous court cases and convictions.

You said the same thing about Ntimama who died at 86, Biwott who died at 77, GG kariuki at 78, Moi at 94 and still alive, njonjo at 98 and still alive and now after the resistance RAO is dining with the government at 73 and has another 10 or 20 years to live.
These fellows lived their lives na wakafikisha bonus. It is only you the poor who believe that when a rich man does something bad to you then that act shall in itself cause the total annihilation of the aggressor. That is nonsense.
On a lighter note, how long do you expect to last with or without a past conviction?

Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly It depends on the conviction. If I was convicted for slapping hardwood, I think my conscience would be just fine.

Upon arrival, he refused to proceed with his journey to London (lazima afuate the route he used when travelling to Kenya). The Canadian embassy had him seen but should he be declared fit to travel by end of today he will be in London, then to US and later CAN. Hii upuzi hawezi peleka Trumpland

Quote:
The Kenya National Commission on Human Rights has hit back at the self-proclaimed NRM general Miguna Miguna for refusing to present his travel documents for clearance at JKIA.

Chairperson Kagwiria Mbogori on Thursday told reporters the commission was disappointed with the city lawyer.

She said procedurally, these were the key documents that would have allowed Miguna's re-entry but instead he adamantly refused to cooperate.

"The commission was disappointed with Miguna because the court orders had allowed him to use the Canadian papers he had traveled with to gain entry in the country."

"He rather became so boisterous at the immigration desk, pushed some of the immigration officers and forced his way to the luggage area which to us was a breach of the immigration rules."
