Hi all,

@#*$*@$.....this is the unfinished kshs 200m Vice President's house on a twelve acre plot in the posh Karen. It is being constructed by the coalation of thieves government using the taxes that we pay ......

.....and this is where i stay with my family

surely,if the government wants me to continue paying taxes on my meagre earning, why can't it construct for me a better and cheap shelter. ksh 200m could decently house 4000 families.

What a nice digz, hope the Vpig invites MTV to see how it goes down in Africa!!!! Afterall our politicians are like the black American celebs whose only concerns are cribbs, rims and entourage's.

And why has it taken so long to complete.

The VPig getting such a house is not the problem, the problem is what do we get in return.

So far just those shacks in the picture below. Does kenya have any suicidal characters who would like to go out in style, now that we have an IIEC,we can strap afew kilo's of explosives on them and use them to send a message to the Mpigs.

I guess if you can't win with facts, you can always pen bile-laced,xenophobic rants to distract everyone.

@Kaiganjo: ....what a nice residence you have!!! Where are your wheels and where do park? Who is your landlord? Does he harass you that you are not paying rent in time?

@Kaigangio,

Lucky dude.....I see you have a master ensuite on first floor........maybe what you miss is a swimming pool, which i suspect is at the back......you can also paint your roof with red paint and am telling you, your crib won't be far from Vpigs house.........Tell me anyway, how do you put up another floor on a tent...?...smile)

...the beauty of this residence is that you can gauge your bedroom performance against that of your neighbour!!! As the couple next door go about their business at night/day you will think they are doing it right under your roof....

....It is also easy to scr.w your neighbour's wife on arrangement when you are right inside your digz. All you need to do is to cut a small hole through the wooden wall. On the other side she will be cooking tea as she bends aiming her xxxsy at that hole. Likewise inside your digz you will be hanging a wall picture as you insert your d...k..... Such are the little pleasures people miss as they get holed inside their acres of mansions...

....and finally,am told, when thieves come calling they don't ask you to open the door ama wavunje. They command you... 'fungua ama turarue carton...!!!'

...You have to plan well...know the height, the size of the hole and all the works. It can be done in the presence of everybody and nobody will know a thing...!!!

How do you figure somebody like me living in such a place owning a bicycle let alone the wheels??? No landlord,no rent, but my neighbor pays ksh 50 which is equivalent to my income in a good and a blessed week….
We also don’t bother about the all night long activities from our neighbours as we are all used to it. Each neighbour has a distinct midnight screams and guttural noises, and this makes it easier to know who is at it hehehehehe…

@ guka,
You see the first floor slab in my shanty is actually the flattened metallic fuel drums/containers very well supported for extra strength…

@ kamaa,
I wish I could afford the tents….even the torn ones…hata afadhali idps…

@ jalofg,
Whenever I am going to sleep, ones I have scaled the ladder after my other half,I remove the ladder and go with it to the bedroom….

...you are so much at peace. ...do not have to think about rent. But about the night screams,do you discuss the following morning about them. I know you are used to them, but some screams just have to be discussed!!! How do you differentiate who is thumping his wife real good and who is thumping his wife literally?

@ chaka,

the toilet has never been a problem...we already have a standing agreement between us in the neighbourhood...each household has a bucket (which acts as a mobile WC) which is emptied every morning at a central collection point (ccp).

As you can observe my house has a balcony..any long or short call happens here, where there is a smaller bucket which in the morning is emptied into the main one before delivery into the ccp.

Each man in the neighbourhood has his day of emtying the main container at ccp. the contents are emptied into a nearby septic tank which was built by our church..
