Sad
Iam not very happy everytime I watch TV and view the Shabiki Jackpot Mbao advert that discriminate against other legal businesses in Kenya to prove their business is more worth than the business of Mchomaji Mahindi or muuzaji njugu karanga.

What is the commissions dealing with consumer rights and fair business practices doing to see such an advert that does not augur well.

It reminds me of the Ariel versus Omo court cases that Omo sought hearing by Ariel advert

It is right to protect the common mwananchi by applying law equally and respecting other people business
The "Usitupe mbao" advert is wrong and bad for businesses in Kenya and must be pulled down.

I tried to follow its argument.

'If you participate in the jackpot instead of buying the desired object directly, then you can win enough money to buy more of what you desire'.

Well, it's classical economic reasoning no?

It's saving and investing in the jackpot, no?

But it's pure lies, because participating in the jackpot is gambling, and the house always wins.

I think these are some of the internal contradictions of the capitalist system...

But in my opinion, the global economy is a huge heap of lies.

Just one more lie will do. That is, even if the ad was to be pulled down/out, we'd still not notice the difference.

Our Consumer Insight group is asleep and snoring when our rights are being abused by con cartels.

There is another betting one where 2 guys are betting on whether a chic will fall. And then she fallsLaughing out loudly

Now, if that's not a sexist ad I don't know what is.

BBI will solve it
