High prices, low margins are back. Only upstream (exploration and development) companies make money. Time to exit KK is today, if you missed yesterday. Life is short. Live passionately.

With higher petroleum costs the margin per unit sold (in KShs) shrinks hence the need to sell more units to cover costs. Working Capital finance also increases. Life is short. Live passionately.

When I bought my first car in 2003, I was paying 54 bob per litre. Seems petrol price has doubled in the last 15yrs. That said it is nice to see a price decrease. Even POTUS is quite happy with the low prices.

When I bought my first car,in 1969, a Triumph herald with 15K miles on the clock, petrol was KES 4.50 per GALLON !!!!!
