what i am wondering is

- will banks lend more if rates cap is lifted ?

I do not know why banks would lend more especially of the GOK continues to borrow so much from the domestic market

also with IFRS 9 implementation, even if banks increase lending won't the provisions also go up assuming that those borrowing at higher rates will find it harder to service the loans
