After the stylish landing, Mwale still had to convince Butere locals to buy into his ideas. He needed land. So once again, he went into a charm offensive with the sole goal of securing the 5,000 acre communal land around the proposed site of his investment.

First, he promised locals that all residents of Kakamega County would be treated free of charge in the medical referral hospital he is building. He was going to change their fortunes by creating 20,000 new jobs in the county. They would be the first beneficiaries.

He dangled the carrot of possibility to his neighbours. He sold hope, possibility and aspiration. All the residents needed to do was hand over part or all of their land to him. In exchange he would build them houses that they would either live in or choose to rent out to some of the 20,000 newly created workforce.

To make it achievable, Mwale broke down his ambitious plan in two year phases that would see him put up the Hamptons Mall, a concept borrowed from The Hamptons in the US.

Why blame the victim. A local resident with no one to advise is bound to be taken in looking for an investment opportunity.Even the well traveled and educated members of this forum fall victims to the "Mwales" of the NSE.

How much is this Mwale fellow worth? And what's his line of business?

The figures being thrown around make him sound like he's a dollar billionaire. And if he is, then tracking down the source of his wealth shouldn't be that hard.

Yet, no story that I've read so far, talks about it. It seems that limit of investigation by our local media is to point out that indeed Mr. Mwale appears to be very rich.

For comparison, Mr. Kenyatta owns like half the country and even he's not yet valued as a dollar billionaire.

Dunia kuna mambo.

I remember this Mwale conman had some scandals in the USA back in 2010 or so and was the topic of discussion for quite some time in the diaspora circles there. You only need to listen to the guy speak for 2 minutes to realise he is a total fraudster. Long stories kibao that never seem to add up. Name dropping big time. All followed by swarms of court cases and unpaid bills in his wake.

Methinks this guy underwent some serious trauma in that rough NYC homeless shelter he lived in for a year while seeking asylum. Those types of places sio mjezo my frens. You get all sorts of crazy druggies and violent types living there. I can imagine what he must have gone through especially coming fresh off the boat from Kenya! That trauma must have turned him into the pathological liar he became, as a survival mechanism.

It is really unfortunate. The funny thing is such characters never seem to think to far ahead, nor imagine their ceaseless lies will ever catch up with them. I suspect he will crash and burn and flee to a different country by end of this year at the latest once the dung hits the fan. How do you begin a whole 200b construction project without even getting a simple approval from the county?

As I said, dunia kuna mambo tena sana.

And the mystery deepens,...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lI0mopfMqvY

Daniel Knox,"CEO of ToGo Technologies USA," brother to Kaila Knox, Mwale's wife, with his shifty eyes looking like he is about 23 years old, spotted way back in 2015 doing what the Mwale-Knox clan of brigands does best. Yep. Conning the hapless residents of Elgeyo Marakwet that they would "soon" get a mango plant.

Knowing their track record, it was all a bag of smoke. Seems their strategy is to build a fake website in the USA purporting to deliver "mobile solutions" (ToGo technologies for Knox, SBM technologies for Mwale). Then use this front to convince the gullible that they are "high net worth investors". Then finance their "investments" through media hype and events like these. that get other investors/contractors/suppliers to buy into the fake dream. And by the time the investors "wake up" these fellows have taken to their heels to some other remote region with the loot, to sell coconuts or 200b ultra-mega-super-technology cities in the bush that will soon rival Abu dhabi!

My favourite Julius Mwale interview of all time Laughing out loudly

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZBBdoJJY_w

Ati SBA Technologies nyc (The company with the fake address at 362 5th Avenue 6th and 10th floors) was about to list on NASDAQ "soon" with revenues approaching 3 billion dollars Laughing out loudly

Nobody knows what "secure mobile technology solutions" it was selling.
The website died a natural death long time ago
Nobody in the USA had ever heard about this company. With revenues of 3 billion dollars SURELY even the local community newspaper in Brooklyn would have known such a company existed. I doubt it even made a cent in revenues let alone profits!

His wife's NGO lists him in its management as well. I wonder how many people they have conned through said NGO as well.

For the umpteenth time I will repeat. Hii dunia yetu kuna mambo tena sana.
