It is supposed to be dead by now after facing the firing squad for treason. Ok...How do you charge a Canadian for treason in Kenya? Thieves are not good people. Tumeelewana?

I only have a simple question. Are there no showers or water taps at the police station? 6 days without showering or eating, well that's what miguna said upon his arrival in canada. That's stinking bad and he's huge. Not fair. "The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him absolutely no good.

That's stinking bad and he's huge. Not fair. Can't imagine how uncomfortable it must have been to sit near him on the plane.

That's stinking bad and he's huge. Not fair. Now you know why from his photos the plane looked empty. No one dared sit near him due to the stench. You can imagine six days of no showering, no changing of clothes, including underwear, no brushing of teeth. He must have been a "ruai sewerage on a plane".

Are you assuming an airline like KLM do not issue their passengers with basic toiletries like toothbrushes and paste? The last time I traveled that flight had these things, plus blankets, socks, eye masks etc etc

And no one can stop him from obeying the call of nature. arghh. "The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him absolutely no good.

At least now he's showered and is relaxed with his family. He should write a book-'The long flight home' Or 'The day I will never forget' 'And the baby came' "The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him absolutely no good.

I pity fellow passengers.

And there are no toilets or showers or mattresses. You sleep on the cold concrete floor, and $hit and pee in a bucket that is placed in the cells. Woe unto you if you are the one ordered to empty that "radioactive" bucket in the morning.

That's stinking bad and he's huge. Not fair. Ngai!!!!! Did you say showers ?? They don't even have toilets. In a few modern stations, the facilities are there but the toilet system doesn't flush and nobody remembers the last time there was water.

To get an idea of the state of Kenyan cells, watch the movie Nairobi Half Life

It doesn't nean they were really guilty, but our police are shie! You can request to be given a tour one of these fine days....

The comradeship and legal advice unless you are a child defiler is however top notch (just make sure you are out of the place before dark).

Personally I'm always excited to see an MP spending the night in those cells. These fellas have had opportunity over opportunity to change the state of those cells. They never do. They all come out singing kumbaya songs but never do anything about them. So it's my hope that more of them are arrested, even if its a fake arrest. Maybe they shall find Jesus and do something about it. Thieves are not good people. Tumeelewana?

Showers & toilets in Kenya police stations, kweli Kenyans are an ignorant lot. By the way in Nairobi, you are better off in remand prison than police cells. In the business world, everyone is paid in two coins - cash and experience. Take the experience first; the cash will come later - H Geneen
