You can never be revoked citizenship of where you were born. There can never be such law under any constitution. It is called citizen by right not given or chosen. Was he born in Canada? If he renounced his Kenyan citizenship when he swore allegiance to Canada, his goose is cooked. He would join the ranks of other illegal immigrants and is liable for deportation. after the 2010 constitution was promulgated there was and is now a provision for those who renounced their citizenship to get back their kenyan citizenship. so that should not be a problem. The question is, has Miguna*2 applied to get back the renounced citizenship? Am not a lawyer, but to the best of my knowledge, you dont need to apply for anything as long as you belong to one of the 42 tribes.That is a sure proof enough, you are kenyan. He can be charged for not having an ID but he cant be deported or even considered an alien.Once a kenyan, always a kenyan Even when you explicitly renounce Kenyan citizenship and owe allegiance to a strange land?
