The Big Four Nay The Fantastic Four Quote:Mwangi Kiunjuri, James Macharia, Sicily Kariuki and Adan Mohamed will be in charge of delivering President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Big Four Action Plan.
Kiunjuri will head the Agriculture docket while Sicily Kariuki will monitor the health docket.
The four have been named in President Kenyatta’s latest cabinet posts assignments which have included a new post of Chief Administrative Secretary.
Both Macharia and Adan have been retained inh their dockets with Macharia manning the Transport and Housing ministry while Mohamed will head the Industry, Trade and Cooperatives ministry.
The big four circle on providing Kenya with food security, affordable housing, manufacturing and inexpensive healthcare in Kenyatta’s second and final term in office.
Kenyatta has repeatedly said that the four will be used to transform Kenya economically and leave a lasting legacy after his tenure.
“During the next five years, I will dedicate the energy, time and resources of my administration to the big four,” Kenyatta said, placing emphasis on those who have been picked to deliver his dream.
While creating the Chief Administrative Secretary docket, Kenyatta says the position will broadly be responsible for helping the Cabinet Secretary to better coordinate the running of the affairs of the respective ministries.

So on this one, unlike the Sonko fiasco, I'll reserve my judgement. Who knows, maybe by having "coordinators" in gov't things will work. Or having each and every loser in each county in gov't. Can someone explain what happens to the 1/3 gender rule ? The cabinet falls short.
I understand there was a court ruling to that effect but the judge refused to disband the cabinet in public interest.
If we could leave politics aside, can Kiunjuri deliver on food security ? Arguably the most important of the big four agenda. Highly doubt but he will make a lot of chums there.
Aden Mohamed on manufacturing ? He has been talking about leather for 4 years with nothing to show.
James Macharia.The 38B health equipment leasing deal was screaming tenderpreneurship. Now with the 500,000 houses, dude is going to be a multibillionaire. But we know he won't deliver even 10% of those houses and they will not be affordable.
Sicily Kariuki will most likely deliver. Not because she is good but because Uhuru clarified that his main focus is NHIF. Will that translate to healthcare for all ? Time will tell.
