I smell a fis/ rat
@stiffler.. Virtually no trading happening.. Time to release the Open Offer circular
Mbuvi Ngunze said last year that the open offer maybe
after quarter 1 2018 is when they can conduct the rights issue.
Meaning after June 2018. Ama I'm wrong ?
More than 6 months later..!
Don't forget the word " maybe".
@HaMaina a second suspension would be better rather than the current circumstances. A listed stock with over 5B issued shares trading less than 100k daily average over the last two months. The writing is on the wall! Existing investors are waiting for the Open Offer and will simply not sell
There is no demand.
If there was demand with sellers unwilling to sell price would rise.
So the price hasn’t risen? The only thing holding KQ shares back is the Open Offer circular. Current price is extremely artificial where on one side GOK, KQ Lenders Co Ltd and KLM have gains in excess of 100% after restructuring and consolidation while minority shareholders are on average down by over 30% on the same trading stock.. Equilibrium will be delivered only and only via the Open Offer. KES 12.5 is fair value
COOP ABP 15.85; IMH ABP 35.55; KQ ABP 5.75; MTN ABP 5.20
