STRESS..MS GLAMOUR WEDDING EXPERIENCE Lady Glamour(not real name) even at childhood had always nursed an ambition to do a big wedding. In addition she has witnessed many weddings and had been in the bridal train of some. After graduating she the job she had was not so fantastic but had a fiancee John a middle level bank worker ready to marry her. Glamour is from a humble background, daughter of retired police inspector. Her wedding was close by and she planned big. Her wedding cake was imported, courtesy of her Aunt in UK. She cancelled the moderate reception venue arranged by John to a more cosy and expensive one at thrice the cost. Their set aside money to get a better accommodation was used up at her own instance. The wedding was really a RALLY with numerous invitees and a lot to eat and drink. In between because of money pressure, funds set aside for honey moon was sunk into the wedding. The D day had cone and gone and Glamour and John were neck deep in debt. Some of the bills for wedding they could not pay as Glamour hinged her hope on cash donations from friends and relations that did not come as expected. Glamour and hubby were dodging phone calls because of threats from creditors. This resulted in nervous breakdown and serious sickness. Glamour collapsed due to thinking and was admitted in hospital. Friends including creditors were the ones that paid initial deposit in the hospital. For Glamour, big hopes dashed and stress set in. Again an avoidable Stress and health complications The wazua spirit as members is to educate and inform and learn from others within the limit of what we know in any chosen area irrespective of our differences in tribes, nationalities, etc. .

STRESS..MR ELEGANT LOST HIS LIFE BECAUSE OF DAMAGE TO HIS CAR Mr Elegant(not real name) has one policy, he always prefers to buy a new car rather than second hand no matter the cost. He needed a replacement car and the price tag was very high. He had to take a bank consumer loan(big amount) , use up his savings and borrowed from friends to actualize his dream. He bought the car that has 1 year comprehensive insurance. The worst happened he was involved in an accident and he lost is life and the post Mortem report indicated heart failure traceable to extreme high BP and stress. HOW? A danfo( public bus in Nigeria, matatu in kenya, tro tro in Ghana) had a brake failure and rammed into his new car from behind. The accident itself was not fatal as initially there were only minor injuries. THE WORST... Mr Elegant came out to see his car and noticed that his new car was badly damaged. The boots squeezed it, the rear lights shattered. HE SLUMPED. Was pronounced dead on arrival in the hospital. Mr Elegant was hale and hearty from the opinion of everyone. The truth however is that he would have been hypertensive so the trigger of anger for his damaged car aggravated everything which led to heart attack and unfortunately death. It is important to know that our anger Or reaction to unfortunate events does not change by our reaction. It only stirs up stress. As mere mortal it is very natural to react that way BUT we have to talk to ourselves reappraise the situation and get back to our senses as soon as possible The wazua spirit as members is to educate and inform and learn from others within the limit of what we know in any chosen area irrespective of our differences in tribes, nationalities, etc. .

This is because none everyone like the conventional gymn. It is a matter of choice. It may be costly or there is no time because of your busy work schedule. In addition if you buy the conventional gym equipment at home you may not be consistent to exercise. It becomes imperative to combine work with exercise. I am not against ladies using matatu as part of their exercise regime, but they have to be more selective. City hoppa if it still exist is a good alternative to combine with driving. Trekking across traffic to pick your car at the other end is healthier for the body than driving in the traffic.
