Have seen letters sent to some of the NASA affiliated governors whose counties have passed the People's Assemblies requesting them for a venue.

How will some of us get to Siaya to attend if it is selected at the swearing in place? Looks like Sonko was Godsent in Nairobi. You can imagine the chaos we would be experiencing if Odhiambo was the one coordinating the event from Nbi "Things that matter most must never be at the mercy of things that matter least." Goethe

Mama has hit the ground running. She looks very determined to develop her county and no time for such events "Things that matter most must never be at the mercy of things that matter least." Goethe

The more the panic and attention he seems to be drawing, e.g. Ndei arrest, and now statement by uncle Sam, the more he is convinced he is 'onto something'

We have 4 days to go.... Nothing on the political front will happen. Stop counting days. They will quote some respect for the constitution, rule of law blah blah blah... Unfortunately, some people might loose their lives and livelihoods in the stupid Maji Maji rebellion reenactment. Let's hope there will be no such losses and work to avoid them if we can.

So Baba is the new Kinjikitile Ngawale. Quite a number of similaries in their modus operandi, and hopefully, Baba will not meet the fate of his predecessor, Bwana Ngawle Kinjikitile was born in what is now Tanzania (then German East Africa, later Tanganyika). In 1904, the then relatively unknown Kinjikitile disappeared from his home in Ngarambe, Matumbi. He returned after a few days and said that he had been possessed by a spirit medium called Hongo, believed to take the form of a snake. Kinjikitile claimed to have communicated with the deity Bokera through the spirit Hongo. He encouraged his followers to overlook tribal differences and unite against the Germans. He told his followers that their ancestors had commanded him to lead a rebellion against the German colonial empire. This helped start the Maji Maji Rebellion. Kinjikitile gave his people holy water ("maji") to protect them from German bullets. After a group of Matumbi attacked the home of a local official in July, 1905, Kinjikitile was arrested by German troops. He was hanged on August 4, 1905 for treason. His brother continued in Kinjikitile's work and the rebellion continued until 1907, with over 100,000 killed.[6] Present-day Tanzanians consider the failed rebellion to have been the first stirring of nationalism, and Kinjikitile "Bokero" Ngwale a proto-national hero. "Things that matter most must never be at the mercy of things that matter least." Goethe

Germans were brutal , those numbers and in the early 1900's ....notwithstanding what they did in SW Africa, i hate to think what they were the colonisers in Kenya "Children today are tyrants. They contradict their parents, gobble their food, and tyrannize their teachers." •Socrates (470?-399 BC)

US position is that - in view of the imbroglio we find ourselves in as a Country, we should should consider amending the law to create an office of the leader of opposition with the kind of trappings that are suitable for Raila's liking! However Raila has flatly rejected this suggestion. Were he to take it, not only would the other principals be left high and dry, all the other cohorts many of whom have been entertaining some lofty if fanciful hopes of some parastatal board appointments would be cursing on account of kuwachwa kwa mataa! Isuni yilu yi maa me muyo - ni Mbisuu
