What is the current state of affairs? Has anyone carried out a land transaction successfully recently? What about the Land Board which Kaimenyi has not yet constituted?

@Maka, what about the Land Control Boards? I saw from the list that Kajiado is yet to have a new one in place.

@Shak, When it comes to Land, don't trust the Media. As Maka says, Kajiado is business as usual.

I saw this then remembered Optiven and all those plots they've been selling in Kajiado. What happens now?

Looks like the ban affects agricultural land. If the plots were on the non-agricultural areas, then i doubt the ban applies.

The former governor too had banned sub-division but the sale and sub-division continued as he was overruled by Lands Ministry.

This would be another irrelevant ban.

It won't work, not because it's not a good idea (I think it is) but because it can set a precedent for other counties, and would obviously lead to ethnic profiling against people who settled there long before.

BBI will solve it
