Kenyans currently do not have enough jobs, housing, schools, hospitals, land, etc. Therefore we MUST NOT open our borders to every Tom, Dick and Harry. We all saw what uncontrolled immigration did to eastleigh, South C etc. Kenyans were displaced from their own communities, areas they had lived in for ages. The middle class and locals can never afford housing in those areas since they are unable to compete with immigrants.

you could be right. Actually, Ivory coast´s Problem began, once immigrants could match the locals in numbers, when it came to matters national elections. They started demanding their" rights" and thus the break of their civil war. Do you know that the current President is not an Ivorian by blood?

How i wish Namibia, Zimbabwe, Malawi or Zambia would also say we can buy land there with only our ID.It would a dream come true, to relocate to these countries forever.

Even if they allowed that, xenophobia would soon set in as we have seen in South Africa or happened in Kenya's rift valley, coast and parts of masailand.

Namibia is my dream land, i hope and wish i can retire there

Looks beautiful and natural from the documentaries i have watched.Think its coz its one of the places where wazungus overstayed.Look at South Africa. However when people like you and me head there, things will change we shal startbeing being brokers, and all.

I thougt the land thing is in the constitution ? I think what Uhunye should do is say get skilled visitors from those countries but even such, Kenya has a lot of workforce without jobs at the moment.
But do not forget some of them will spend their money in Kenya even if its buying a bunch of bananas.

@Kiash you are right. We blacks lack managemet skills and that is why, eveywhere we go. We destory it down. Anyway, maybe our grandchildren will be better. I already told my wife jana, Namibia is our next holiday destination. The future of kenya is hanging on a thread and the way whites ran aqay from Detrod in the 60's, that is the same way, i will run away from kenya

This is the best thing that will happen to our country.a lot of dollars will flow into this country and this will help our economy. We can now expand our industrial output that will not dissapoint would be traders comming in wishing to take our products back to their countries. Examples you have seen our EPZ factories opening doors for locals to buy their products. the rich folks from other African countries would wish to setup industry here. currently the Chinese are having the upper hand.we need also capital from other Africans.
Kenyans should up their game and wake up from their long dream of serikali saidia but I know because of increased goverment wealth our programs like the youth and women enterprise fund will increase greatly helping our very own youth to better themselves.
I am also flabbergasted that a few of us think that Kenya is only eastleigh and south c. Watu watembee Kenya. This country is so vast and is ready for more cities and towns with new opportunities for the natives. The government is opening up a n.a. corridor called lapset.i will remind you that Las Vegas is a city in the middle of a desert.
Let's not also forget of the short time gains of the sudden increase in dollars in our economy brought in by foreigners looking for a better future only to spend their hard earned savings and then decide to go back home empty handed and the cycle continues.
Politics is just things to keep the people divided and foolish and put your trust in men and none of them can do nothing for you...

Must recognize here we are not inviting beggars but Africans who can invest in Kenya, stay and spend Money. This is how Dubai and in large UAE has positioned itself.
You will find all replica of the world in UAE and that how to grow, reads again the USA

Moi brought Indians who bought much of the land around the cities. They bought dollar rated companies and made them Rupee rated companies which started paying Kenyans peanuts while they even brought in non-expertise Migrants from India...( The "Singhs" of Kenya as the name depicts)

It is not, like we lack Manpower. We have it abundantly. However, what we need, is qualified personnel, in large numbers. People, who will add value to the economy.Inorder to cushion the poor, the government should introduce minimum hourly wage rate. Kenyans can then choose how Long they work and Managers equally can choose whom to give the Job to. This will be a win-win situation for the everyone

Kenyans will be empowered abd give 50 % of the contracts. They can have their chamas enhanced to do business with government by loaning their money to govt or bidding for contractual jobs.

Again i would tell Nairobi governor to stop showibg us he is cleaning the city by doing the cleaning quietly as we have etes to see. By the way the rit has happened as we watch.

The best thing is to divide city into boroughs which then can be divided into small units and have contracts given by demarcated areas that are manageable. Sonko should hence be following on these units not showing us graders abd shovels doing work.

Again better and open contracts must be open to kill corruption renewable every 6 months fir competitive biddibg abd cleaning.. I campaigned for Jubilee and i will comb them ethically.

Again we have inspectorate department that reports to senior officials etc and Sonko should kick their asses not showing us his SRT doing the job without vidding for contracts.

What are the lawyers doing as they have not raised issue why sonko rescue team an NGO is doing the job? Sonko need to be formal now.
