Michael Jordan/Quotes
I've failed over and over and over again in my life and that is why I succeed.
Obstacles don't have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don't turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it.
Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence wins championships.
Some people want it to happen, some wish it would happen, others make it happen.
I can accept failure, everyone fails at something. But I can't accept not trying.
You have to expect things of yourself before you can do them.
One day, you might look up and see me playing the game at 77. Don't laugh. Never say never, because limits, like fears, are often just an illusion.
My attitude is that if you push me towards something that you think is a weakness, then I will turn that perceived weakness into a strength.
Always turn a negative situation into a positive situation.
I've always believed that if you put in the work, the results will come.

Yours trully Mr. Sarcasm
I AM trust in GOD, I AM belief in THYSELF

The difference between Michael Jordan and Joshua is that Joshua has never failed.... at least according to him and so he has never had to change anything or figure out anything. For you to start afresh you must acknowledge failure. He never has so he has not sought to become different or better. To his credit Uhuru failed miserably twice once in 1997 to capture the Gatundu South seat and then in 2002. Both times he accepted defeat and went back to the drawing board and started again. That is a Michael Jordan right there.

Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly

He won't be Noah, Noah was before Joshua. He'll have to return as 'you know who' deducting that to baba 1 year in the outside is like 1000years.

But is that agreement of sharing loot with Jimmy for real or it's propaganda? That would make sense on his level of desperation.

BBI will solve it

It's not about taste, it's about the only winning formula that's available today. Any other will result in a disaster for jubilee

If I was a betting man I would put my money on Rutonko.

Sonko has a youth demographic voter base that others can only salivate at. And he is the kind of scrappy fighter that you want on your side, not the other.

As for Mountaineers, Ruto will not need their votes to win (many Gema will sit it out if there own is not on the ballot). He only needs to stop them being a factor in someone else's equation.

For this he can draw lessons from Rila's painful experience:

1. Don't spook your enemy

2. Bully tactics may work in the school yard but they are a bad idea in electoral competition.

3. Watch those you surround yourself with as they can really cost you

True, but sonko will have 1 more term as 047 available while mutuas will have none. A stab by the latter may complicate jps maths

Baba will not give Ruto a headache. Ruto's biggest problem is Gideon. The Kalenjin are amongst the most democratic people as shown by how many MPs never come back for a second term. Gideon Moi was first humuliated in the Kericho senators by election. Losing is actually a very good thing in politics. It allows you to be insulted and ridiculed which helps someone like Gideon to lose the prince title and actually come back as an underdog.

Very interesting point. Indeed losing can be the best to happen to one and Gideon, Uhuru, Kibaki, Wamalwa are good case studies. But it depends on what you do after the loss.

Somehow Rao has not benefited much from his loses, despite his star rising very high with his base.

Unfortunately his combative brand of politics and the people he attracts to himself tend to repel many voters and makes it easy for opponents to brand him at will. I was shocked to learn that Jubilee built a strategy to defeat him that was based on this one weakness - ego.

If a mountaineer he or sh should not be from kuyu, but the other GEMA communities problem is at the moment no mountaineer has brought his or her head out to replace Uhuru

Running mate should be from TNA wing of jubilee not necessarily from the mountain.

Another thing to watch out for is who comes in as Finance CS. Kibaki's biggest signal that UK was the chosen one was his appointment as Minister of Finance. It is the one position in Government that gives someone an overview of how Government works.

One move that could shake the current status quo would be an appointment of Gideon Moi to be CS Finance. Ruto anaweza lia machozi. Uhuru is close to Ruto but he is even closer to Mzee Moi so if mzee makes a humble request vitu vinawezachenjanga very fast. Mudavadi and Uhuru are also very close. In a room with Ruto, Uhuru, Gideon and Mudavadi, Ruto is the odd one out.

Gideon has a bargaining chip in that Kanu has supported Jubilee but has not had any position in Government. He can just make a request for only one cabinet position. Moja tu and if that position is Finance he takes it himself.
