The count down....

No lesser a person that Raila himself - hinted at the inevitability.
Why he chose to so pre-empt, stealing Kalonzo’s thunder is itself very telling - a political calculation.
Obviously Kalonzo's political decision processing has not been one to be proud of! - backing the wrong Horse, the procrastinations, the feigned tough talk/acting (attempts to fit in), poor choices, letting himself and his team be completely overshadowed and smothered to near obliteration. etc.

“They will then dangle a position in the cabinet and thereafter raid Wiper to ensure his MPs cross over to Jubilee Party because their aim is to create a single party state and eventually remove presidential term limits.

Kibwana called the retreat to discuss party issues, including Kalonzo's chances come 2022, should he stick with the National Super Alliance.

Party organising secretary Robert Mbui (Kathiani MP) noted concern about "a new scheme by ODM politicians to move goal posts on Raila's quest for the presidency". He did not give details.
The leaders re-affirmed their commitment to ensuring KCSE examinations are not affected by politics.

Wiper will not participate in demos [sic] nor does it support the boycotts announced by ODM earlier this week!

Kalonzo knows that participating in dividing Kenyans along ethnic lines will only kill his dreams. It's not that he's all of a sudden become wiser, he's just become more selfish.

BBI will solve it

Kalonzo or any other politicians would have to be daft to have aspirations of being elected president. Kenyan elections pre-ordained and 100% rigged. Running for president is actually a waste of time and money.

Babu is so paranoid such that he is imagining figures bribing him to retire. Fact is as long as he is on the ticket, certain quarters will always work to beat him. He is the incentive that drives people to the poll. As for Wiper, they will bolt. If Kalonzo insists on remaining in NASA with RAO running then he's finished. (which I think he is). By the look of things only Maanzo and Junior seem to be feeling the resistance movement

In all fairness Baba did not quote the currency. It could be Tzs 25 Billion which is just over Ksh1B.

Still high. Baba will soon be worthless. You remember buying Mumias sugar shares at Ksh 52.00? That's Babas worth right now (Ksh 1B). He will soon be at Ksh 1.50. Do the maths.

Kalonzo has zero options he has nowhwere to go if he bolts and at the mercy of raila if he stays. If he can initiate a coup within NASA and convince the likes of joho and his coastal counterparts to join him this may give him some additional clout which again is another impossibility as Joho is keen on inheriting railas political base.

Rigged by whom? Can you justify that Uhuru did not win the elections on August 8th? Even Orengo's answer is open servers, yet IEBC is saying the servers are wide open, he has no clue.

Everyone knows UK did not win. Even jubilee psycophants know that deep down but will not admit it.

The supreme court decided that the elections were rigged. Even UK knows he cannot without rigging. If he was confident of winning he would not insist on holding flawed elections without reforms.

As for IEBC, they are not credible. Even Chebukati admitted that his organization is deeply flawed and partisan. And those who chose not to participate in helping Jubilee rig the elections are either killed or have to flee the country for dear life.

Kenya has not had a legitimate election since 2002. Kalonzo and other politcians would have to be under serious illusions to think they can win. The winners in Kenyan elections are pre-determined. Running is pointless.

If you run four, five times and you have not mastered the art of rigging then then you probably have an incurable problem. In 2013 RAO was the PM and was allegedly rigged out by deputy PM. That was plain reckless if true.

Please give us a little time to rest basi, some people don't live in reality, sasa ni kila kitu kwao. They should in all fairness and reasoning give us 6 months or one year to rest if they have so much nyeges and want another election, 3 months is too soon again, if from 2007 after ten years of the idiots changing electrol commissions, Kenyans fighting and dying, and still losing, 90 days will not change anything, they had 5 years to campaign, they will lose and find something to cry about like babies, come back after one year and preparing well though the idiots will obviously lose again and refuse to accept reality, one time we may have to think of secession from some nuisances, otherwise Uhuru might be there dealing with cases in 2024.

We waste too much money on elections. Those billions should have been allocated to County governments. Let's have 1 election every 8 yrs. One term!

This makes a lot of sense. One shot only, you make it or break. They have this huko kwa Duterte I think.
It levels the field somewhat, the incumbent does not get to abuse state resources seeking another term. Granted, they can still do it to 'anoint' a successor to the throne, but that is a lesser sin, not as bad impact wise.

Kenyan elections are a waste of time and money. No pointing holding elections if the winner is pre-determined.

Just let the ruling families remain in power and other Kenyans live under what is akin to colonial rule. There is no point holding elections if the ruling families will cling to power by hook or crook in order to keep their stolen wealth. Just let them keep it and as the chief justice said in 2013, accept the thievery and move on.

Memo to Kalonzo and others: Don't bother.
