There are always many complaints about poor journalism in Kenya but there are some really good ones out there who do an excellent job.

My favourite is Cheboit Emmanuel of Citizen TV who reports from Turkana County.

Indepth, well researched well presented reporting that focuses on serious issues without dragging in politics. The county of Turkana is very lucky to have this kind of reporter covering the area. This is the kind of guy any well intentioned county government should provide access and lend support to.
