When central kenya governors are debating if they should rebuild the railway btwn nanyuki and nairobi (using internal resources by the way) to reduce cost of business, these other governors are debating costs for ferrying goons to cause destruction in nairobi in the name of 1 million man march, bringing down companies which are the very source of revenue they so badly want increased, etc etc.

I think even moi, for all his failings, wasn't as 'thick'.

We're all looking at the smaller picture. This NRA boycott call is not targeted at you and me middle-class and up-market citizens. We all know that it's ridiculous and even laughable. The target is the poor majority who take baba's word as gospel and not an old man's tale. Targeting Safaricom, Brookside, Bidco is inconsequential as these companies will not feel a pinch. The main danger and the intentions of the boycott is for the poor followers of NRA to to extend the boycott on tribal lines on the ground. The idea is that Onyango should boycott Kamau's kiosk and vise-versa eventually where Maina stops taking his old taxi to Omosh for repair. The idea is to destabilize the economy down there to create strive. The question is, who will throw in the towel first. I believe the more business minded communities will come up on top.

BBI will solve it

Country needs to find a way to mute this NRM and other related nonesense, otherwise we are destroying the democratic, economic and social gains. What options does the incoming regime have (excluding dialogue)?

We need to amend our constitution from the 'winner takes it all' to be more inclusive.

I have heard that talk but what does winner takeall mean? Just seen a tweet about bringing back 42 ministries. If that is it what do 42 ministries do for Kenya?

The constitution is ok as far as gov't is concerned what we are facing is greed of power.
47 governors/senators/women are more than enough. We are over represented.

there's no value in elections if winners and losers have to hold talks. i'd rather economic stagnation because of protests and boycotts than setting a precedent where an election loser can manipulate their way into a government position without actually winning an election. once you open that door, there's no going back and it's far worse than economic stagnation.
All my friends are heathens, take it slow. Wait for them to ask you who you know. Please don't make any sudden moves.
