We're fooling ourselves, and being fooled.

Resistance doesn't engender liberation, and liberation is a contradiction and a fool's errand.

Our politics are rotten, the agonies of slaves. Our leaders are blind men gropping in the dark, leading us into the pit.

It's a non starter.
Only a fool joins such a movement blindly.

What is this resistance for? Regime change? Policy change? World view change?

Is it about having credible elections?

To all these questions the now forming resistance responds dismally.

Yesterday I heard one of the resistance's representatives talking about avoiding premises that have the president's portrait. That would include arms of the executive which have critical links to the judiciary.

So that would mean that the resistance would need to build its own judicial system. How competent is it in this task? How would the judicial system look like?

Civil disobedience must have an ethic. What is the ethic of the resistance? Gandhi had Satyagraha, an idea entrenched in the Indian schools of thought. What is this fundamental idea that we are resisting for?

The resistance doesn't remember the fundamental ideas that create and validate political action. And not just that, but the processes needed to attain Revolution seem to have been forgotten.

There's an urgent need for a questioning of our political narrative, and our projections.

The major error(cosmic error) was made when someone advised Raila to boycott elections. Unfortunately,in life, there is no room for school boy errors in high stake games. He (Raila) knows all too well that the 2017 game is over, done and dusted. A good advisor of his should take the whole NASA team to a retreat in the annual hyena mating season at Kruger National park and do some serious SWOT analysis for 2022.
