These must be the most difficult Governors jobs to hold. You are basically a deputy governor with very little power because the real power is with Baba. You watch maandamano destroying your county but you cannot go against Baba by saying no maandamano.

What could you possibly do to ensure you survive as governor and still get some maendeleo?

I think a good place to start would be to form a united front. An informal grouping of Lake Victoria governors committee or whatever. At this time it would be critical for them as a united front to go to Karen and have a real heart to heart with Baba. Baba and Orengo are in Nairobi calling for maandamano. In the evening Baba goes back to Karen and Orengo goes back to Runda meanwhile Kisumu, Homa bay, Siaya and Migori are suffering and it is the governors who have to deal with the mess.

A culture of antagonising security officers is terribly dangerous. One there is the risk of people losing their lives but even this though tragic is short lived. The more tragic consequence is when security bosses decide that security is not important to a region and withdraw security services and only provide security to ensure it does not spill out of the area but leave the area to become a den and hideout. Vigilante groups rise up and an area becomes toxic hell. The people who suffer the most are the residents. This is what has happened in the US in black neighborhoods in places like Chicago. Gangsters are left free to terrorize their own people in the ghettos for as long as they do not spill the violence outside of the ghettos.

Security is a national government function it can really f*ck up a region without firing a shot. All it needs to do is neglect its services in certain areas and this can cause a real disaster. Governors should not let this happen.

I like what sultan does,he told his guys not to be used to destroy their county, but goes to every NASA rally, the only NASA thing allowed is the rally which was very peaceful, all in all, the political temperature will go down and the luo community Will be forced to look at the future and find another supreme leader to rally behind otherwise they shall join the other minority tribes

Have you realised NAsa leaders also dont do any meaningful economic activity. They are holding daily press conferences. They spend whole day writing a statement which they read towards end of day. And they hold these at okoa HQ coz they cannot afford high end hotels. What time is today's presser?

We discussed this option yesterday and it is a very bad option for the four counties. It will be like the gold mines of Congo.

Laughing out loudly Very.

Though mudavadi especially paints a picture of a guy who is so idle, has lost hope and has no more taste in life. His dressing style has taken a dip and he's put on more weight.

I hope NRM will rejuvenate himsmile

Young men in his strongholds take Raila's words very seriously. He is the one person who can stop the chaos with one word.

Meanwhile ordinary Kenyans have very basic needs. That mother is thinking about her child doing KCPE businessmen just want to do business. These are the majority.

He has always dressed poorly but he used to be reasonable. I do not know what happened after the mademoni episode but he sounds bitter, vengeful and almost suicidal. Someone needs to talk to him urgently.
