There were shorter queues on 26/10 than 8/8 election plus the uncertainities surrounding the election. Yet, Uhuru is almost matching the 8/8 numbers.

Not really because by the end of it, he will fall short by one million or so. His strong holds didn't turn up like on 8th because it was a smooth sail. Watu kama eskye said UK kwisha pita, no need to vote hehehe In other places where he made in-roads (read shocked NASA) people didn't turn up due to intimidation.BBC reported that, Githeri media will not tell you that. I am aware of these. I wanted FRM2011 to explain why they prefer to go with 6.5 million votes rather than 48% turnout which translates to 9.4 million voters?

Iebc can still declare winner..and have uhruto sworn in without single vote from nyanza...coz total number of votes from this area is now inconsequential..however,if elections must be held there 'to satisfy constitutional provisions' it will be purely for cosmetic reasons and this can be even next year since iebc has power to postpone elections - even indefinitely in areas where it is not safe

Where did you get 6.5 million from? It's very interesting how the biggest commentators on this elections on social media are the Nasarites who purportedly did not take part. I feel their pain. Next time ask ruoth to participate.
