Nasa asked the IEBC to call of the poll and accused government of "profiling and targeting" the region for standing with Nasa leader Raila Odinga, who pulled out of the Thursday election.

Kupelekea watu debe wapige kura is "profiling and targeting" them.

I think Raila could have won if he had pulled the trick he pulled on the Supreme Court...... well the story he told of the trick.... that he said they are not going to court so as to fool Jubilee while all that time they were gathering evidence. On the last day with 20 minutes left before midnight they presented their water tight case and won.

He should have done the same thing with election. He should have made everyone believe he is not running then last minute tell his wafuasi to wait till 11am and then start voting in large numbers. He could have won.

My observations.

1. You can almost gauge political loyalty from yesterday's figures.
Central - > 80%
North rift - 60-70%
Meru - < 60%
Nairobi - <35%
Laikipia - < 60%
All coastal counties, 3 ukambani counties and the 4 from western plus transzoia returned < 20%. Kisii and Nyamira between 20-30%.

If you are a true jubilant, please inform Itumbi that the KYSY (Kura yangu sauti yangu) will be their source of unbelievable pain in the coming days. They had observers in 44 out of 47 counties. They are the one who have discovered the stupid cooking of Garissa figures. 134 being changed to read 434. 09 being changed to read 309. So far they have documented at least 46 such instances. They are comparing the actual 34A taken at the polling station with the one uploaded on the portal.

Sadly, these ones cannot be bought. AFRICOG and such like minded guys. We need to stop this nonsense. I don't think its too late. Unless the plan is to have the election nullified once again.

ION, when Baba withdrew from the race, even the spoilt votes withdrew. #algorithmmanenos

What does Baba have to say to his 57,477 (As at this time) wafuasi who turned up to vote for him?

Who is more loyal; the ones who boycotted or the ones who went to vote for Baba?

- the vote count is what matters.
- you realize this is only the presidential, chances of errors are low. most spoilt votes were due to combining with the other elections, wrong ballots in wrong boxes etc.

If Uhuru had an imaginative propaganda team they could have used an occasion like this to pull a good story that can help reduce tension.

This would have been my play:

Ask Uhuru not to vote until the very last hour of the day. Position a camera man where they can get a clear shot of Uhuru marking his ballot. Ask Uhuru to vote for Raila and let this be captured. Next day (today) let the picture be leaked.

Silence from statehouse. Let Uhuru give a vague comment like Kura ni siri...

Good, will give IEBC time to include other centers where there were problems, then we can get a good picture.

The joluo votes total a paltry 1.3m votes. Ohuru is already at 6.4m votes and poor baba is at 51,000 votes. This means even if kavirondo republic gave baba all the 1.3m votes ohuru would still be leading. Thus kavirondo votes are useless in kenya's election and ohuru will be declared winner ......and sworn in ASAP!.

The Kavirondo republik should be asking why ukambani and coast betrayed them and voted in the 26/10 elections, and gave Ohuru a wide margin.
