Unless NASA has very solid plans , by mid next year it will be a shadow in comparison to today. Leadership ,Infighting , moles and ruthless jubilee. To avert bloodshed RAO must prevail his fanatics in Luo Nyanza to sleep 💤 and avoid being near any polling station. Alternatively, IEBC should postpone if hostilities persists work to prosper

Chiloba taking leave soon after Asahani's exit is not coincidental. Truth forever on the scaffold Wrong forever on the throne (James Russell Rowell)

But he will most likely say 'he has decided to participate' sometime next wk not for any other reason but purely so he can have 'grounds' or moral authority to appeal the result'

After all he has just been handed two slim lifelines: Chiloba's departure, which he can easily spin as a win and the veiled threat to deploy Military, which he can brand as a Jubilee genocide plan. What you will not hear is an admission of error or apology to the poor sods who are dying or getting maimed in his name. "The opposite of a correct statement is a false statement. He would be wise to tell his supporters to refrain from disrupting the elections and instead just stay home Meanwhile Nanok has refused. No demos in Lodwar please!

Cash allocation for counties where leaders will interrupt elections to be withheld by the central government...haiya!! Uhuru should not fall into this kind of thinking. Moi did the same, viciously attacking Central Province's economy, leaving the formerly vibrant coffee, tea and dairy industries on their knees. Here was a president taking food and medicine from the mouths of peasants, and then going to Kabarak on Sunday to show us how Godly he was. Kenyans have forgiven him but I will never forget. It would be sad if Jubilee now becomes Moi incarnate. This victim mentality sense was a narrative propagated by politicians and other elite in the region to whip the populace into line accordingly - That Moi had singled them out for destruction! The truth is during Moi era most if not all sectors of Kenya's economy stagnated. Kicomi, Rivatex died and with it Cotton farming which supported farmers in Nyanza and Ukambani. Coffee and Tea are also grown in other parts of Kenya It is the same/similar victim mentality tool that demagogues like Raila are using today to appeal to peoples emotions. You could also add the point that Africa happened to experience one of the worst economic decades smack in the middle of Moi's rule. But why let facts get in the way of a politically useful demagogic narrative? This chip-on-the shoulder style of manipulation is not a Kenyan invention though. It just happens to work better in a tribal, power distance society where many of us are quite happy to let our leaders do most of the thinking for us.
