it's a hot seat!! I always wondered about the sanity of people who were applying... not everyone is cut out for that! utatukanwa... utathreateniwa... high stakes! Let's face it... there is no "right" or "wrong" in this world... it's "what works" that's important... the universe doesn't give 2 f*cks if you are right... She left a high paying jobo to come and make things right... now she is looking back and thinking... this is now what I signed up for!

And NASA have been successful in their attempts to speak with one mouth something (idealistic), spin a narrative easy enough for people to grasp and use their henchmen to piga cities ngeta to cause uncertainity!! They have spun everything to be "iliibiwa"... simple repeatable narratives for wananchi wa kawaida... idealist jargon for lawyers on TV to make Jubilee look like patsies and thugs to raid the streets and drag things down.

I tell her that right now half of Kenya is dismissing her claims because they view her as partisan.

AKOMBE: I am speaking out because I am hoping that there are some sober heads - sorry to be emotional - that there are some people who will take this up and redeem that country before it goes down the drain.

PERALTA: She gets emotional, and we end our interview.

IEBC commissioners should be given to politicians, I think they are the only ones who can comfortably do that job, imagine if we had nanok as the chair, oparanya hapo, Lonyang’apuo ... even the sc would think twice before nullifying an election.

I found that very startling too. Clearly she has detached from "that" country completely.

@masukuma, the media has played right into the NASA narrative completely given that they understand zilch in technology, they go by what the over domineering lawyers say as the gospel truth. This country needs redemption.

I wish that the commisioners especially Akombe and Chebukati, would provide us with precise information on their causes of concern.

1. If Jubilee hasn't placed any conditionalities on the commision, then what would cause Chebukati to issue a yellow card to them?

2. If the commision gave adequate reasons for not meeting some of NASA's demands, then what would cause concern to the extent of resignation and yellow carding?

3. Why would it be necessary to convene conflict resolution mechanisms between the contestants?

4. Why is the commision not engaging Aukot and the rest of the contestants?

In my opinion, Chebukati and Akombe are fanning a wrong impression of affairs, and the appeal by NASA regarding the actions by these two commisioners is likely to be misleading in the sense that NASA is failing to acknowledge its contribution to the lack of confidence in having a credible election, and the commision is failing to provide credible leadership regarding the elections.

The resignation by Akombe, and Chebukati's yellow card may in fact be deliberate engineering of a crisis and not the distress we're meant to believe it to be.

We are all suffering from an epidemic of political correctness and not even the courts are immune. Everyone knows that NASA (RAO) are in the wrong here but we won't say it for fear of offending the minority that supports them.

AG Muigai put it well when he lamented the tendency of our courts to decide cases on the basis of politics rather than justice. Our judges are leaning over backwards to not seem to favor any side of the political divide, to the extent of subverting justice. That is how we got the SCOK to make a dodgy ruling that now seems contrary to not just the law but logic too.

That is how Americans got Trump.
