@vvs, I don't think it is quite the sum of the two. Look at it like a split (ala KK. More shares release value). Also consider what is happening to insurance counters - Jubilee, PAN are heading for the roof, but KENRE seems the laggard. Possibly points to the insurance one getting more value and the bank discovering itself at a lower price. Don't shoot me Mr. CFC aka mukiha.

Erm, at the end of the day you have to add the 2 (after the 'split') to see what your loss/profit is...

So if you came in at 100/- but in 6 months add up the 2 & you get 100/- then u broke even...

m asking the kawaida price of the stock. Help out a sister b4 aungue.

There is nothing like "kawaida" price! I first bought this share at 130 somewhere around 1995 and the sold at 600 several months afterwords. The bought again at 40 about a year later and sold at 75 around 1998.

My current affair started in 2007 at 115. Have been buying different lots as it came tumbling down all the way to 43 ans then started climbing again. Last purchase was in late April at 51.50.

So you really can't ask about "kawaida" price. And the same can be said about any counter!! It all depends on when you went in!

But do I think it will reach 100? I hope it does!

Just remember... the other banks are not standing still... I have moved my business from CFCStanbic (after it became CFCStanbic after CFC Bank was taken over)... Why? Better service with lower charges!

@VVS: Just like my case with SCOM, I am a shareholder of CFC, but have never been a customer. My banking is with I&M - probably the best bank in the world!

@mukiha - Are you a clone of mine?

I am on YU/Zain coz cheaper than safcon!

I like I&M coz the staff know me by name/face & you can see the staff 'grow' as they rise up the ladder! Of course, the service is also much better!
