Fact: The entire opposition consisting of Mt Kenya and the Lake were fully behind the NCEC initiave Fact:In 2007 the police in Rift Valley were up against the majority while trying to protect the minority Fact:2017 is one tribe affair and other regions seem to be disinterested. We are far from where we were in 2007. At this stage, people were already being killed and evicted from their homes. ODM of 2007 was a much more powerful outfit than NASA of today. The fact is in 2007, the Kalenjin were the watu wa mkono for ODM not just because of the warriors but also due to the high number of Kalenjins in the disciplined forces that made it difficult for GoK to go all out. It's the Rift Valley violence that actually led to the Grand Coalition government. The pattern of current demos already tells you where the problems are likely to be and it's a much smaller area and is more homogeneous. In the event Uhuru is declared president which seems apparent now, there'll certainly be chaos on and after the 26th. Parts of Nyanza and Western might even swear in Odinga as president and claim secession. However, it will be back to near normal in 95% of the country in 2 or 3 weeks. To drive a serious armed insurrection, Odinga would need not just MASSIVE dissent in the disciplined forces but also support from some regional leaders. Magufuli is a close friend but Tanzania will not go to direct/indirect war with Kenya over Kenya's problems that dont affect it. To this extent, Uhuruto's aggressive foreign policy over the last 5 years will work in their favor. All my friends are heathens, take it slow. Wait for them to ask you who you know. Please don't make any sudden moves.

When these nasa fools insist it is the work of police to control the thieves, looters, stone-throwers, as a poor third world country do we have enough police and equipment and most important, TRAINING? Dont forget, the police were the first to be excused from ICC. Can we afford this? Is putting such a small police force under this kind of pressure not just outright "power grabbing", na hii power yote ni ya nini, choo na mkeka ya kabila yako tu? Police don't even have palaces like the rich maraga mwilu axis and earn peanuts, do more work actual value adding work than maraga who destroys and paid to mess up, then you hear some stupid tribal analyst pointing at police. And do we need that much policing as a society? This is fostered by a colonial mentality and total brainwashed thinking. Hii ni ujinga ya aina gani surely. A New Kenya

Maybe @War Lord should tell us how many drums of blood he has been asked for them we can go line up at Uhuru Park and willingly donate. The deaths and injuries of those Kisumu youths is needless. ION what did those guys who attacked Bondo Police Station expect? Love is beautiful and so are those who share it.With Love, Marriage is an amazing event in ones life time, the foundation of joy, happiness and success.

Matiang'i should withdraw police from towns in Luo Nyanza before they get killed. See what has happened in Siaya today. They attacked a police station and if the police officers were not alert, they would have been overrun. Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.

ION what did those guys who attacked Bondo Police Station expect? Attacking a police station is crossing the red line. It's a declaration of war. The police should have responded appropriately and neutralized the 20 attackers just like they do when alshabab attack police stations.
