The deputy SC must be dying of anger. Anytime I see her talk, I see one angry woman.

And lots bitterness with the world.

Why does she talk so forcibly? Why can't she be like Maraga and cover up her feelings. At first, I thought she was experiencing that discomfort that ladies say they have during that time of monthsmile

She is past "that time of the month"

Maybe menopausal.Or Wako had stopped smiling at her.

From her looks she has a cold, black and stonehard heart. In another life she could be a witch.

She looks like one

You guys be kind. She is someones mother or grandmother.

She is a beautiful Human being with a contrary opinion.
Hope is not a strategy

Very true

I have learned more law and latin this year then ever

I have also learned that our constitution is a scam stitched up by lawyers to make money. Bomas was not about Wanjiku after all.

Exactly, it needs serious panel beating. WSR saw this.

Nobody should stop the ordinary Kenyan from reading and interpreting the constitution even if the ordinary Kenyan has never done a law unit.

Why? Because when we needed a new constitution, we turned to the ordinary Kenyan to read, understand and pass it!

So no apologies lawyers when we read and give our opinions. Don't patronizingly lecture us. We are just saying: "This is what we meant when we passed the constitution"

Kenyan lawyers are useless. Even Uhuru and Ruto could not put their fate in them at the ICC. Watching them on TV arguing makes you wonder if they are taught in the same schools or there are two sets of law in Kenya for Jubilee and NASA.

BBI will solve it

Back in the 90s, during the clamour for a new constitution, Moi argued that Wanjiku had no idea about making of a constitution
He was called names like dictator etc. Politicians and activists rushed to use cliché phrases like 'Let the people decide', 'Kenyans want', 'We the people' ad nauseam
My recollection of Ghai commission sittings (which I attended in my hometown) confirms Moi was right. We went there thinking katiba was dawa for everything in Kenya including rogue pastors and churches! Kenyans all over were saying we must force churches to have at least a school and a hospital! Kwa katiba!
The other thing is, we thought we were making the katiba for Moi. Hence most wanted university degree included as a minimum requirement and max age set at 75!
Moi was later proven right again when in 2008, we formed the committee of experts to write for us a katiba. They just customised sections lifted mainly from US system.
He was proven right again by certain sections in 2010 who said 'Kama baba amesoma na akaona iko sawa, basi iko sawa'
Others are proving Moi right today(2017) by quoting non existent sections of the katiba just because someone called a presser and told them it's in the katiba!!

Our constitution is not perfect, it's work in progress. But believe it or not, we are much better off with this than the monster that was there before. We would be at war now after these aborted elections were it not for this imperfect constitution.

BBI will solve it
