Not really.

The 73year old goons alternative was war/mass action.

Who knows the woes would have been worse.

This elections will catch NASA off-guard. As they continue wasting time between Chilobae matters and trying to force a constitutional crisis, Jubilee is busy filling up their vote baskets with thousands of leaders from different communities being hosted in State House. This will be a walk over thus time. They can go back to the SC again after the elections.

There will be no election

IEBC is an independent body. Once elections are set, NASA can opt to forfeit but elections will be there under Chebukati and Chilobae wapende wasipende. Orengo and his master can go to the Supreme Court after, on the 27th and I can assure you they will lose both the election and the petition.
It's time for Kenya to move on as we mark the end of the Odinga regime. I still wonder if the Moi regime is still there?

BBI will solve it

At some point I also held the same view but now with the benefit of hindsight you can say it say it was a blessing in disguise.
How else would the "enemy" in Judiciary have been smoked ou and there are other valuable lessons to IEBC that if implemented will see a much more credible poll.It also offers the loser a less embarrassing exit.

I particularly have a problem with how Maraga is approaching this whole thing. Why is he being rude?

Chebukati is asking a very genuine question. In one hand the elections act says results will be based on 34B as announced at consituency level and on another, receive and VERIFY 34As. What's Chebukati supposed to do if the two don't tie. What results should he announce?

The video doesn't seem complete. What was Maraga's response?

Which is the less embarrassing exit? No elections?

The condescending nature of the SC is one reason which as WSR says, we will revisit, When a grey haired lawyer like Chebukati asks Muite to go to SC and seek help on what the court means he should verify results, when another court says he cannot change anything, they should explain to him like a nursery school kind what they mean. By the Deputy asking him , what is it that they do not understand, this shows how superior they think they are in the face of the rest of the mare mortals.

A SC Judge should be very amenable.

We shall revisit them.
