A question...Can size 175X70X14 tyres fit in a 2010 Vitz(which ordinarily has 165x70x14 tyres) without changing the springs or putting spacers?

You are not changing the diameter (14) nor the tiyre profile (70). This two can affect clearances to the body.175 is the width of your tyre and so it should fit where a 165 tyre goes in although when overdone, the tyre may touch you mud flaps while cornering.....The difference here though, is 10mm which is not much....ion, i read the title of the thread as Pumpkin owners club....uzeesmile

The vitz 2011 model...not a bad looking car. You'll start seeing them en masse starting next year

@Njung'e,I have read that the profile relates to the depth of the sidewall
thus the 175x70x14 will have a side wall of 122.5 mm(70% of 175) and the 165x70x14 will have a sidewall of 115.5 mm,meaning the 175 tyre is bigger in diameter
by 14 mm?

I have Honda's equivalent and actually very proud of it. As opposed to a 3.6 L guzzler that's a pain to park

My friend wanted to buy the newly employed wife a Vitz to be going to work. Wife refused saying she cannot drive a Vitz. Wife took the mat+kaguu to work. After two years she took a Sacco loan and asked the husband to top up to buy a Vitz equivalent.

Moral of the story... 1) Buy a car that you can afford. 2) If your ego is bigger than your wallet, you will never drive.
Life is short. Live passionately.
