Mutunga did the country a big favor, hapa naona shida, plus the talk in some economic circles is not encouraging at all. Raila will lose and go to court as usual but this time he will lose in court. It's obvious what Chebukati is doing, he wants to comply with the Supreme Court to the letter so Raila is left with nothing to fall back on. Very neat plan.

PRESS RELEASE. JUDICIAL SERVICE COMMISSION. Tuesday, July 12, 2016. Shortlisted Candidates for the Post of Chief Justice
The Judicial Service Commission has today reviewed the applications received for the position of Chief Justice for completeness and conformity with the Constitutional and statutory requirements, the JSC Act and criteria outlined in the advertisement for the post.
The following six candidates were shortlisted for the position of Chief Justice:
Justice Alnashir Visram
Justice Smokin Wanjala
Justice Roselyne N. Nambuye
Justice David Maraga
Justice Mbogholi Msagha
Mr. Philip Nzamba Kitonga
