Here comes the caretaker president...we will not have election within 60 days so Uhuru must step aside after expiration of the 60 days period. The law allows the speaker of National Assembly to take charge albeit temporarily. What a country we have. Portfolio: Sold You know you've made it when you get a parking space for your yatcht.

I keep wondering if RAO has serious strategists and analysts advising him. Both houses of Parliament are hopelessly stacked against him. Going by the emotions displayed, security instruments will be used ruthlessly on any threat to peace and order, real or perceived. IEBC is being egged on to carry out an election as directed by Supreme court. If Raila boycotts, Uhuru will go ahead to compete with the Didas who may show up, and if none does, Uhuru sails through unopposed. Uhuru will then reveal a side of himself that has been in hibernation - http://wazua.co.ke/forum.aspx?g=posts&t=17505 Kenya will be the loser, big time! Just as absolute power corrupts leaders, so does absolute fanaticism blind the people from logic

We will have a constitutional crisis then the Mbeere guy will become the speaker. By the Mbeere ndio kwa kina Marire and Mutava? The two sound like Kambas. Portfolio: Sold You know you've made it when you get a parking space for your yatcht.

The two sound like Kambas. As Ngalaka told you, the speaker becomes President only when both president and DP are incapacitated Which is why security people kept Muturi in Parliament the whole day during the SGR launch. Just in case something happened Uhuru remains president till next swearing in, however long it takes

Read the new constitution, as it is now, he is a lame duck president in that he cannot higher constitutional office holders, 60 days from end of petition, he surrenders presidency to the speaker of parliament until after fresh elections are held "The purpose of bureaucracy is to compensate for incompetence and lack of discipline."
