I hear Wamuchomba campaigned on finishing alchohol in Central. Maybe what we need is to make weed legal.

Did anyone just read the nonsense above?

May be what people need to do here is look for the closing by Nowrojee pherozee on YouTube which I think aptly summarized the basis for the ruling

I was questioning the ruling simply coz I was not following the court case.

But after watching the court proceedings for most of today morning I am convinced the judges arrived at the right decision.

Some of the questions they posed to the IEBC lawyers were quite interesting and I think they are convinced the IEBC is incompetent and as such could not have conducted credible elections

You mean supposition!!

Again issues of incompetency would mean orders for overhaul before the fresh election in 60 days! How practical!
Unless you are suggesting the court contradicted itself.

In the US, Federal judges are political appointees infact even the supreme court judges are selected according to their party affiliations. Maybe its time Kenya became real with its self and just take that route. We should stop pretending to be objective.

As a Country, that would not be in our best interest.

In the US the divide is about ideology
Liberalism vs conservatism.

Parties in Kenya are about this tribe(s) against that tribe(S).

We still quite immature and do not know that we need to acknowledge and mitigate our biases as human, the bias issue is very huge even in science and causes havoc, this is how you end up with Judges who want to appear as "angels", they refuse to acknowledge human failure and set up VERY STRICT standards, an "excuse" to the deep seated element of ukanila in many of us Kenyans, that Christ died that we may learn to control, but they cannot control themselves also, they are human, it's also a constitution failure of sorts, rules about supreme court need to change, elswhere in industry, people have come to revolt unions and union leaders, mostly the workers themselves, we also need to know what stupid atwoli does with pesa za union, mwizi jinga mwingine, Uhuru takes milk all they what to tz what does this fool add value in Kenya kusomea watu? Some of this people who just live on gossiping like women and causing divisions belong in kitu the 1920's huko.
