The young lawyer for Ekuru Aukot is really good. He is not as eloquent and flamboyant as PLO Lumumba but on issues of law his presentation was solid and very well argued. His evidence was specific, accurate and verifiable. It is the kind of argument that the CEO of IEBC can make as required reading for his staff and would help to improve how future elections are conducted.

It will be interesting to hear how Justice Lenaola votes on the decision and to also read his opinion because the young lawyer really put him on the spot. It was his decision that inferred that if the process is flawed then the results are flawed as well.

Well put.who is interested in looking at numbers from a flawed process? When Ngatia said that the problems were all over, especially in NASA strongholds, he was simply lending credence to orengo's assertions that the process was flawed.so who was bright here?

But do i say!!

The court should have invalidated all 6 elections.
Si the other 5 were all part of the same process found to have been flawed?
What will be the grounds to let the election on an MP, Senator, Governor stand if the process is flawed. Sasa hii ni floodgates of contentions.....
Half-assed ruling.

This is not bad. Societies pick themselves up when they are at the lowest. Our politics will be our lowest ebb and then we can pick it up from here.

2017 is an elections year. So nothing much will improve

But that is the catch. To make the institutions fail so there is a caretaker government and Babu can come in through the back door. This time round it will not be easy

@Quicksand, the petition before them regarded the presidential election only. The others fill file theirs and use the SC decision as the basis upon which they lost.

Maraga trying to put himself in history book as the first judge in Africa to nullyfy a presidential election. He has fallen in Nasa's trap.
Maraga is not that smart after all

Exactly. They have created a major crisis. The court seems to be deficient in wisdom.
