Baba attended the Court hearings for two days and sat pensively. looks like his stakes are very high and dependent on the outcome of this case. His legal team has argued its not about numbers but the process. Looks like it has downed to the NASA team it would be difficult to win on numbers!

Numbers are derived from a process. wen the process is bad, then the numbers produced by that process
do not matter. That was the essence of Nasa's case. Thats how this case will be won or lost.

Orengo did not do his side any favor trying to sneak in new documents. It almost looks desperate but I think he did very well, definitely better than Muite but not Ngatia, Ngatia was by far the best prepared for the closing.

On a different note, it is sad that there wasn't even one woman selected by any of the sides. This is a sad day for the women and they need to step up and stop being file carriers the way we are all seeing on TV all through the process.

I think he did well. Ama its my 12 inch thick googles?smile smile

I think his main line of argument was intentional, and it was about numbers. If the numbers in the form are not contested, then it is a fact that the will of the people was expressed and should be left to stand

He also made compelling points about what law requires as far as the forms, maintaining that there is no evidence as to why the election should be set aside.

I thought grand Mullah was underwhelming.

PLO ran away with the show jana !!

Ladies and gentlemen, the dully elected President, the one who painted the country red is enjoying himself kwa safari na wanyama. Hizi vitu zingine ni entertainment and on another level, embarassing for lawyers such as Otiende? How could he accept to go to court to present Pythagoras?

Process is bad by which standards?

Constitution reigns supreme. Now come back and tell us what the constitution and law says

The young lawyer for Ekuru Aukot is really good. He is not as eloquent and flamboyant as PLO Lumumba but on issues of law his presentation was solid and very well argued. His evidence was specific, accurate and verifiable. It is the kind of argument that the CEO of IEBC can make as required reading for his staff and would help to improve how future elections are conducted.

It will be interesting to hear how Justice Lenaola votes on the decision and to also read his opinion because the young lawyer really put him on the spot. It was his decision that inferred that if the process is flawed then the results are flawed as well.
