Susan and the Former MCAs went to bed with a very corrupt system led by former Governor Kinuthia Mbugua.Thats How Lee Kinyanjui clinched the seat without campaigning vigorously.( Actually Susan Used more money than Lee in the campaigns)
Very few people spoke against Kinuthia Mbuguas Excesses including Susan,If she had gone for Governorship she could have been exposed, the reason she opted for the easy senatorial seat which was easy to capture because the former Senator James Mungai(Very few people know his Name)went missing in action.
Two things complicates Susan rise to Gevernorship
1.If Lee manages the county well and goes for two terms Susan Kihika might miss out on the Governorship 2022,the Kalenjin Community have started laying claim to the seat and come 2027 they will not play second fiddle.
2.There are other rising politicians who are positioning themselves for county politics. One is Gilgil elect MP Martha Wangare a young nominated senator who has said she has ambition to lead the county(she is a DP ally).Susan is in her late 50s so she doesn’t have luxury of time

I think not bringing up Mbugua's issues and not gunning for governorship is what proves how strategic she is.
This shows she is a good politician, but does not address the moral issue of whether she should have addressed the excesses of the previous governor.

On age, I believe This Susan is 40 or 41 if memory serves. Maybe you are thinking of her older (step) sister also named Susan who is probably in her late 50's.

That part of age I also disagree with Late fifties. She could be in 40s.Does she have totos?

Her first born is in University

He might be a hustler politically but not when it comes to finances, Why is Mburu a close associate of Machozi?

Let me clarify. Mburu=Machozi (my fren). Hustler=Machozi if you may. I was never good in these equations but I hope you get the gist.
